Download the 10 sprites and 18 scripts of "Power Shovel 1.0" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
How many rocks can you load in 5 minutes?
Operate a Power Shovel with four degrees of freedom (Left/Right, Main Arm, Forearm, Jaws).
Lift the round rocks up into the Yellow dump truck body - but don't hit the truck!
If you download, be aware that this project uses the Trigonometry functions of Scratch 1.2 and won't work on version 1.1

Hi, I wasn't really sure where to ask this, but are we allowed to put a small advertisement (with a link to a website) in our signature in the forums? Or is that strictly banned?
I'm not familiar with those sites specifically but they sound like they are trying to make a profit somehow - they are not a charity. So probably they are not allowed.
Advertisements for for-profit businesses are not allowed. If you want to advertise your personal blog or website, that is allowed.

It might look like I copied it...and in a sense, I did, but actually JSO and I developed it together. He copied mine, improved it, and then I copied his and improved it some more. So we both made it.
Very good simulation. I like it a lot. Eager to study the code...

You noticed the infinite remix loop! I created it originally, then JSO made some cool changes which copied back to this one (with his permission). So now, it is a joint project!

The Boss doesn't like it when you break it! That's a pretty good amount of rocks in that period of time.

I made the original...it got featured. JSO added some great art and sounds. I took his project and made some more improvements (like a way to turn sounds off) and pushed it back up to the web, replacing the original. JSO then made more changes to his version (some work on the ball and adding the round timer display) that I decided not to incorporate. The end result: two projects that are remixed from each other!

Hey Jay - Yeah, the controls pretty much are the game. Thank JSO for the great sound and graphics. As for a practice mode - I don't think so, the game is simple enough to restart and I'm pretty much done with it I think. Feel free to remix if you want....
but theyre very easy to use controls...
it also has alot of controls... but i spose that comes with the game...
this is amazing... and the sound affects r amazing... 1 improvement: hav a practice mode or something...
