I love that you are making a lot of galleries - Scratch can really use the organization! And I will certainly add my projects when I get a chance. Maybe you can look for other people's projects for your galleries on your own though as I am short on time. Just use the Search box :) Or, you can advertise your galleries in Show and Tell and invite people to add related projects. Good luck!

very interesting. at first glance it looks like all you did was rotate the sprites, but if you look at the coding, it's much more complicated than you think. Keep up the good work :) (now that sounded like an instructor-type comment, but still.....) :D
Well, actually, that's all that's going on - the sprites are rotating. But the center of rotation changes with every pass, so it is a bit more complicated. Probably you could make a pretty good imitation of this project using the method you just described :)

Sorry to barge in like this, but there seems to be a problem. A Scratcher named bobobobobo12321 has been swearing on some of my projects: The links are above this comment. He’s probably a real Scratch, who just made another account to try and annoy people. He’s being saying rude stuff, and I hope you could do something about it. I also have to say that I did reply with me swearing too. So I apologies for that.
Those were unpleasant to look at...I flagged them and deleted them. In the future, if you get comments like that just click on the "Flag" link below them and a message will be sent to the Scratch Team. Try to remain calm and don't bother to answer them...they are trying to provoke a response. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Well...thanks. I often feel that I put up projects that are not as finished as they could be. I get frustrated at times and decide to just go with it the way it is :)

Every piece moves in a circular orbit. But the center of the circles is picked randomly every cycle. Some pieces are traveling twice as fast as other pieces so they actually circle twice before joining up with the slower pieces.
Have you ever seen it come back together?
Sure...on my computer it comes back together about every 10 to 15 seconds. It doesn't do that for you?

Pretending to be someone other than who you are is going to confuse people and if you do things that go against the Terms of Use, there is no way for the Team to tell if you are doing it for real or are doing it because you are pretending to be someone else. Please just flag bad projects and comments when you see them, that's how you can help the best :)

I didn't specifically have the world in mind when I started the project...I just knew I wanted to explode something and then bring it back together. It *could* have been a yellow chair...

I already emailed scratch about this but i believe there are 3 accounts (1 person) who commented on space song and extreme game and i already flagged some of them but mabye you should see them. they call me a nazi (since im german) and cuzz A LOT and i think they wnt way to far. should i delete all the comments? or... because its very offending
That's mean!
Flagging them was the right thing to do. It will alert the members of the Scratch Team that review comments and projects of the issue and they will deal with it. I'm not sure what hours they work (I think it varys) but they will respond. I will take a look now.

Hi, got your message, that was actually me sister (did I mention she's evil? lol) who hacked into my account and put that whole "evil and quitting" stuff on the web. Pretty weird why my sister is evil... Anyway, she was just trying to get me banned so I could get mean and stuff like that and become evil... I'm used to it... She's insane and needs to actually take pills to calm herself down (weirdo, I know).
Well, please take steps to make sure your sister doesn't get into your account again :) Change your password and be sure to logout every time you leave the computer.

i have 2 questions: 1) why did scratch erase top downloaded? ad 2) im stuck in making a game that has the potential to be a great, you may know the cannibals and missionaries game, which is what im making, i have done the drawing and the instructions i just have no idea at all how to do the programming! if you have time (you dont have to) could you mabye give me a simple demo on your fix it account? here is my start (link to project)

Whoa! this is way cool! hey, I saw that kaotherogoncreator asked chezmaine1 where you get scratch 1.4 because it doesnt say where to dowload, and chezmarine1 said you have to hack. chezmarine1 said that you have to hack, and if it is true then he hacked because he had 1.4 . I am a member of the Scratch Team...but different members do different things. I don't usually see any of the flag messages, for instance. I have noticed that you seem to have standards stricter than most people. On Scratch, we pretty much use American popular culture standards...so no nudity, or explicit sex. But kissing, marrying, having kids, bare bellies and so on are considered acceptable. Hope that helps.
(view all replies)Well, I don't know if they will understand - since I don't know what you told them. Flagging something by accident happens all the time...I wouldn't worry too much about it. As for flagging hamster projects - it may be that your standards of "acceptable" are stricter than the reviewers on the Scratch Team. As long as you explained that no disrespect was intended, I don't think there will be any problem.

Paddle2See, I have a question. I downloaded and installed 1.4 but IT DELETED ALL MY PROJECTS!!! Maybe. Can you please tell me where they are? Also, this may help you; I saved them in the folder 'Projects'.
I downloaded it, and it didn't delete my projects. I still have the other scratch on my computer. :-P
(view all replies)I don't think it deleted them. But 1.4 looks for and stores projects in a different location than 1.3. Version 1.3 stored them in the same location as the Scratch installation (usually c:\program files\scratch) bu 1.4 stores them under Documents. You might try searching your disk for .SB files (scratch projects) and you will probably find your old projects.
