hey, I'm 13 but i know what a clutch is, heck i use one almost every weekend when i go out quadding ;) 6 speed manual. anyways gr8 game, u mind if i download the scripts and modify them to make a completely different simulation?
What's a "clutch"? Just kidding! Most everybody drives an automatic these days and have no idea what a clutch even is. Using one is going to be a forgotten art.
Very good way of "visualizing the problem". Backing up with an old Ferguson tractor had the advantage that I could see exactly what the wheels were doing. This kind of exercise should save a lot of body work!
Any Ideas for teaching easing up on the clutch!
this is weird, but fun nice, o ya if i add the placement thingy on my chess-chekers game how will y take the "dead" pieces to the my side? they will be on eachother
Yes, I actually have two sons, one in college! The younger one is learning to drive and getting better all the time. He also likes to make things in Scratch, in fact he's the one who told me about it.
Thanks for commenting on my morse code generator scratch program. I was so excited someone looked at it and commented on it. And after seeing your programs I'm amazed, but happy you liked it. Thanks. ^_^
Well, I'm glad you're having fun with it. I won't make any promises but I'll take a look and see if I can't make it behave better at the walls. Thanks for the interest!
Hmmm. Not sure what you mean by auto drive, but there is a bit of a problem in that you can drive very deeply into walls. Maybe your keyboard repeat rate is set too high? That is something you can adjust in the Control Panel of your computer.
Yeah, I thought about more wheels, but it complicates the scripting a lot without adding much to the play. Maybe if I get a brain storm. Thanks for the comments!
My youngest son is learning to drive and is having trouble with parking. I wrote him this parking simulation so he could practice without damaging my car!
Click the green flag to get started. The steering wheel tracks the mouse position, the space bar is the gas pedal, you shift into forward using the up arrow, you shift into reverse using the down arrow.
Try to steer your strange transparent car so that it is completely inside the green parking areas. Don't hit the yellow areas or your score will be reduced. You get a time bonus if you can park in all four areas in less than 5 minutes. My best score is 9824, see if you can beat it! I got the steering wheel idea from bigB's Mini_Race game, everything else is original.

i just played it all the way through and my score was -644500. there is some glitches, like it will go on auto drive and then go in to a wall.
