Oops, forgot to ask this in last message, whats the scratch team e-mail, I need some help on something, and I found a few things that might just pull 1.4 back into beta.
You can contact them at help@scratch.mit.edu. I don't think they are going to pull 1.4 back into beta...but they might put out 1.4.1 if you found something major :)
This project is definitely a "must download" to see how such different patterns can be produced from your "simple algorithm." I can hardly wait to watch it full screen. Thanks!
Pretty much...I pick a random speed, direction, rotation speed and so on for the master stick, then all the other sticks copy it. At the end, I bring them all back to the center.
I love this stuff. Very cool. I'm looking forward to
learning how to do these kinds of projects. All I can come up with is music videos. I'm not so mathematically inclined nor do I know a thing about programing, but I love a challenge. Thanks for your
help on getting more views on my project.
No problem...thanks for taking a look at my stuff. Math is kind of my thing so that's what I do :) I wouldn't have a clue how to do a music video as good as yours. Scratch is a really fun way to learn a bit of programming. And, as with most things, the more you know, the more you can do :)
As a screensaver...yes, I agree. There used to be a way to turn a Scratch Project into a screensaver. One of Jen's Chirp projects maybe? I'm not sure it survived the release of 1.3 but I could find out if you want.
Download the 7 sprites and 16 scripts of "Silent Dance 2" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Just sit back and watch!
A simple experiment in symmetric random motion.
Normally, there is a 3 second wait before it goes on to the next pattern. If you press the Space key while the pattern is drawing, you will cause it to be Paused (small blinking red dot in the lower left corner). It will not go on to the next pattern until you press the Space key again and unpause it.
What I like best about this project is the variety of different patterns that are generated by the same simple algorithm.

hi :0
What up person?
this is one of the coolest visually appealing projects on scratch. instant love it :D
I'm impressed
Thank you for your kind comment :)
love it number 149.
Thanks :)
This is amazing! I thought I should make a Geometry gallery and I did (link to gallery) - This is a perfect fit for the gallery.
COOL
beautiful.
Cool!!! It looks 3-d!!!

(view all replies)This does give me a idea, when the offical 1.4 source code comes out to make a naturally based volume metronome block.
People should like this! (link to project)
Nice, a design randomizer!
awsome in my galery
This is beautiful.
I'm happy that you like it :)

It really is simple...I think you'll like it :)
cool
soooo awesome! howdya do it?
amazing!
dude u could make some serious money if u could make that into a screen saver
wow that is asome you are great at doing this how did you do this is asome
Stunning!
this is so frickin cool. is it all random?

Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Incredible! Neat project!
That is so neat!
wow! cool! it seems like it would be really hard to make. how long does it last?
It never stops :)
(view all replies)Wow!!! Nice Project.
'D'
Wow ^O^ I love all the generated patterns! This should totally be made into a screensaver ^^'
pretty
cool
Impressive piece of math art here sir!
Thanks...I'm glad you like it.
cool!! this looks like it would take a long time to make.
Not all that much actually...the sprites were simple, the math not too bad. Everything else is random :)
this is so cool to watch, very nice
this is so cool to watch, very nice
awesome project man. this is so cool.
I love this! It's perfect! Nice idea, Paddle2See!
Thanks! I really like symmetry :)
i fink its realy cool i cant stop watching it

A.K.A. COOL
AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEE
Oh yeah, awesome project, too!
Paddle2See, how old are you? Because you seem really smart and make scripts that I can't understand. Are you in college? I'm only 10 years old.
You gotta learn to walk before you can run....Happy Valentine's Day to you too!
I'm 50...a retired Engineer and computer programmer. So I know a lot of math and I have a lot of free time. And I still remember how to have fun... :)
(view all replies)Amazing! Whenever there are patterns with tight curves, a Moire effect appears!
bravo! bravo! congrats that it was on front page! well done with all your wonderful projects!
my brain likes colors!
pretty colours... my favrite.... \(^.^)/
Pretty colors... me---> <l:D
Beautiful. It always creates a fancy 3-D image, but it can still look like an item. For example, once I got a parcel with a bowtie on it.

(view all replies)It's like watching clouds...the human brain is always looking for patterns!
(view all replies)This might work to help reduce worries. I'm not worried buy it's relaxing me. It's so much fun
Amazing like all your other projects Paddle2see. P.S. I fixed the accesories on the Ha ha personality like you suggested so feel free to try it
That is amazing!
OMG! As in Oh My Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
... pretty ... kinda like mine!
Your blowing my mind!!!!!!
Paddle2See,you are amazing....
Just breathtaking!
