Wow! Why haven't I seen this before? This is amazing! Especially when used with my new tablet. This must be the best paint editor I have ever seen on scratch!
I LOVE this project. To make wind, set angle variation to 0 or 1, angle to right, color to light blue, line weight to low, color variation to low, shade variation to medium-low, and use burst brush. At least, that's how I did it.
The only thing I can think of that is a glitch is that if you use the eraser, then you change the background, it shows. but of course this cannot be fixed, unless you use an erasor that re-erases everything that was erased whenever you change the background, but what is really the best idea is to add a "use eraser" block to 1.4...
Thank you! How did I do this? I started with the idea of a spray of lines coming from the mouse position (inspired by Kid Pix, I think)...then I decided to see if it would be fun if you could control almost everything about the spray (color, length, angle, etc.) and then it grew into this. I'm glad you like it...it's one of my favorites too!
What? You can't see your picture yet? Your computer is probably caching the old version. Try shutting down your browser and restarting it. Sometimes that clears the cache.
Sure, from your "My Stuff" page, click on the link under your picture that says "Change Picture". A window will pop up to allow you to select a file from your computer. After you select a file, it may take a while to show up on the Scratch website.
I wrote a Scratch program that plotted the colors on the stage. Then, I turned the stage into a sprite. Help yourself if you want to use it on something!
This lets you make more artistic drawings, rather than persise ones. Fuzzy Paint makes it easy to blend colours, and make textures. This is why I love this so much! A little confusing at first, but after a bit of practice, it's really simple.
Download the 27 sprites and 93 scripts of "Fuzzy Paint" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Paint (kind of) like famous Impressionist Claude Monet! This paint program is all about textures, colors and shades. You control a special Burst Brush to create a variety of texture effects, depending on the settings.
You can store the brush settings and recall them later as you work on your painting.
See the Instructions after the Title Screen. At least use the Tool Tips by holding down "H" and mousing over the controls.
This paint project is kind of the opposite of my previous paint project, Tech Paint. Tech Paint is all about accuracy and precise shapes. Fuzzy Paint is all about feel and texture.
Credit is due to MyRedNeptune as I drew inspiration from the color picker in her paint project "Amazing Paint". Credit also to AddZero for inspiring me to put in the color cursor, which I saw on his "Color Picker Doodler" project.

Nice! I've found similar techniques work well for clouds, water reflections and so on. If only there were some way to implement an UNDO feature!
(view all replies)O my gosh(I know I could say OMG but I don't like to text) It makes PERFECT grass!!!!!
Thanks! It is useful for that. It does pretty good pine trees too!
хе
THIS IS ausome! its like mine, but this is 2d and a lot better than mine mine is 3d and you draw with HOOPS! (link to project)
You put a lot of settings into it. I like the sliders on the left side.

Coolio!

Yeah, erasing is always a problem. I would love to see a "set pen color to eraser" command!
(view all replies)if you slide the sliders to the max, when you draw its like, TOTALLY AWESOME!!!
Yeah, that's like party mode with balloons!
cool
This is WAY TO COOL!!! *favorting it*

I've always liked the Impressionist style of painting, which is kind of "fuzzy". I'm glad you are enjoying it.
Cool, pretty, nice, nifty, AWESOME!

The one where you choose the color.
Ah! That one...I made that with another Scratch program. Feel free to use it if you want!
