This is awesome, also I took your great idea for showing a blank in the fantasy Name Generator Project, nad now im uploading it, i dont think it will upload an entire project but it just replaced the other one
please see this project: (link to project) there are quite a few layering errors and the grass texture doesn't show online, so it is much better when downloaded.
paddle2see i have an idea (more like a challange) ok so u know how there are formulas for differnt shapes, well could u make something were u type the formula (or something close to that so i mean u can't pick a list of stuff) in and then a little dot will pen(draw) the shape that the formmula represents and if there formula is nonsense it will come up with a little exitable box saying ERROR, so whst do u think is it even possible in scratch? and if it is can u do it?
Okay, I think I've duplicated your problem, Jens, if you get a hit and then continue to click on the target multiple times, you can hang the program. I'm not sure how to cure this problem - I tried putting a semaphore variable in to check to see if the first hit had completed before trying to process another but it didn't seem to help. For now, slow your shots down.
Ouch! I was having some really good shots, when all of the sudden the speech bubble saying "A Hit!" wouldn't go away again. I can still move the pointers and shoot, but the project hangs! Dang! I was getting *good*, I'm telling you....
Hi Jens - thanks! That's my goal, push the boundaries! Scoring well in this game depends on recognizing certain patterns of the pointers that allow you to accurately locate the target. When one pointer is pointing at another at right angles, for instance, you know the target is on the second pointer. Or when two pointers are pointing at each other, then you know the target is on the line connecting the two and you can use a third pointer to locate it exactly. So, the way I play it, I wait a lot and when I see a pattern I can use, I jump on it. My record score is now 26.
7 hits, my rating is "Amateur", lol! Such an original game! I love the design of draggable sprites pointing to a moving hidden one. You always come up with ideas nobody tried before, amazing!
theBing - Well, chicken is good, right? 75zx - I'm not sure what you're asking...where did I come up with the game idea or where did I come up with the Invisible Wombats. The wombats - I just liked the name. The game - I like the idea of figuring things out from odd inputs!
