I agree, being able to pass arguments to sprites (or even to use sprites *as* arguments) would be very powerful (and so much more fun). But still: Look what you can do without these features! Awsome.
Thanks Jens! I was just trying to find a simple way to get my mind around controlling all those sprites. It would have been a lot easier if we had the ability to pass arguments to sprites!
Excellent and very creative! One of the best - if not the single best - dance projects I have ever seen in Scratch, because of all the threads running in parallel. I especially love how you make the stage control and synchronize the egg motion using broadcasts from a master script. It's quite amazing how you can illustrate complex programming techniques in such an enjoyable Scratch project!

rcuya - Have you downloaded it and looked at it yet? If you have, you will see that all the commands for the dancing are in the Stage script area. There is a single master script at the top that runs from the Green Flag. It calls lower-level scripts that set-up the movements for each sprite (by selecting and unselecting them) and then tell actually have the sprites do them.
Thanks everybody and Happy Easter! Hi emily3678 - I was thinking of putting new sprites on my Buried Treasure game and turning it into an Easter Egg Hunt but now I don't think I'm going to have the time.
Cool. Happy easter! Sorry i hav'nt been on in a while BUt finaly IM on. I like the bunny in the backround. You should make an easter Egg hunt game I know you could do it
These Easter Eggs have been training all year - well - actually, about a day....but they are READY to show you what they can do! Just sit back and watch.
Thanks to Silverkey17 for the great Egg sprites!
I tried something a little different here in that all of the code for the dancing is located under the Stage scripts. The sprites themselves are set up as puppets to be controlled by the Stage through the use of variables and messages. This made it very easy to keep all the sprites in synch with each other.
