I found 5 bottle caps, 3 gum wrappers, 2 rusty nails, 2 empty soda cans, 2 rusty tin cans, 2 empty lighters, a broken oarlock, a brass medalion, 2 rusty horseshoes, an old gun, and a penny. Good job!
horseshoe and broken bone and a gun and tin can and a brass medallion and a silver pocket watch. you made a mastake. the medal detector wouldnt react to a bone.
I don't remember putting a broken bone in there. You're right that a metal detector would not notice one of those. Are you sure you didn't find a broken oar lock?
Right now there are 20 different items...but you can find the same item more than once so really there are as many things as you have patience for. The game will never run out.
oh p2s u should take off funkymonkey's idea BUT also make it so u can buy better meters(like so at the begining u have an old one*the thing at the bottom will look old too* and use the money to buy better and more reliable stuff) and unlock better treasure hunting places(places with a higher % of good stuff and really valuble good stuff!)
funkymonkey - Sell the items...hmmm. That might be fun. My biggest problem with that is how to fit it into the user interface. I really like to keep the screen clear for treasure hunting and I've kind of used up all the space on the meter. It's a good idea and I'll give it some thought. Thanks!
hey p2s i was just wondering couldent you substitute the varibles useing broadcasting? (i know varibles are esaier) and also could you substitute broadcasting with varibles?
thanks p2s for showing me how to make those exetra segments! and also i prefer (cause i thought of it) my version of moving cause i like having something i made that works( but yours is more simple)
I came up with a similar brute-force method of doing arrays, just with 10 sprites holding 10 values each, but where it can be dimensioned arbitrarily: a(i,j), where i x j <= 100. I tried to make it simple (just three broadcasts). Not particularly fast, however.
paddle2see could you help me with worm i can't get tose extra blockes (that get added on every time you get a certain amount of points) on the backside of the worm and make them travel in the same direction that the worm did
Love it! I found an ancient roman coin, a nickel, a coin from Norway, and a gold ring. Seems like I was pretty lucky, considering the short time I spent on it. This is a great game! =D
Logan996 - More things to find I can do easily, scrolling is harder, I'm not sure I want to go that route. I might have the scenery change a bit though just to keep it interesting, maybe some birds or something. What kind of items would you like to find? They have to have metal in them but that's the only restriction.

Reminds me of my game 'Sand Digger!' Oh and P.S, you should try my new game 'Puzzler 3000'!

It's pretty realistic and amusing, indeed; but it's very dificult too. I found a lot of garbage and only the ancien roman coin has saved my day.
