My first attempt at a platforming game and an experiment to see if I could create a scratch project that drew platforms that were always different.
You got stuck in the sewers and need to get out. You need to retrieve the key to get to the next area and you can not touch the water or else you will drown. Use left and right arrow keys to move and space to jump. There are an infinite amount of areas, and the platforms are never the same! This project uses gravity and platform detection.
This, by the way, was my first project that got front page.

I love both so much! How can you people pick? When you talk about Nintendo vs. SEGA, I can't pick. But if it's Sonic vs. Mario, Sonic would totally crush Mario into cookie crumbs!

Nintnedo beats Sega, but not by much. I play Mario games, but I stick with Sonic CD and my other sonic games.

No. I used a platform pen that would draw platforms that were always different. And this does have gravity; if you download it, it has a "forever if not color red over color black... repeat until color red is over color black. And until that happens, it falls by 1 y cooridinate.
because the cat is rufly the same size and it is the same programme I used on that before I figured out about gravity.
By the way, did you by any chance use my simple platform programme I put on the internet as a template.

This is a testing ground project. I'll be applying the same idea here to a project I'll make called Ice Climbers (I'm sure you all are familiar with that name, especially if you have Super Smash Bros. Melee)
Yes, it is simple. However, this is just a prototype experiment to see if i could make the platforms draw themselves and thus never be exactly the same.

Hanksta, I used a pen sprite with a "pen up" initiated every time the x position's remainder of any number 1 through 5, and if otherwise, hold the pen down until the y position is > the end y position (i.e. 170 y)
