A retooled remake of the classic arcade game space invaders. This is a more challenging variant of space invaders. Hence the "DX"
Your ship looks different (oh boy, THAT looks familiar...)
How to play:
Left and right arrow keys: Strafe (move)
Space bar: Start, shoot
Post your high score.
PS: There is a secret in this game, that unlocks something. But you gotta download to find out. (Plus it comes with a homemade remix, I recorded it with Garageband on my Mac)

Good job oldschooler. Shouldnt the bullets hit the blockade and then explode though not go through it? Also bullets should hide after hitting the blockade and enemies I believe!
Maybe, but this is made for more experienced players. Like the Famicom Disk System version of Super Mario Bros. 2.
(view all replies)yep, it works now. I had to close out my browser and get back in. Apparently I was running a cached version. Excellent work. It really get frantic in the last levels.

It still stops after level 1
It should be fixed now. I checked it in presentation mode, and it went past level 1 (I made it to level four before I died because the speed of the enemy bullets increase as well)

Nice! Seems a little unfair though, the green objects stop my bullets but not theirs! Bummer. Great graphics! Online, it stopped dead after completion of level 1.
That was by accident.But it was purpose left in there to add difficulty.
