this is cool i like how it isnt stupid and you can jump up through the bottom of bricks:) but when fall from a high height you sort of sink into the grund a little bit..
11 of my projects have been on the frontpage. You really have little control whether something gets frontpage or not. Although the chances are usually higher if your project involves a character such as mario. If I had put knights in my RPG demonstration instead of mario I don't think it would have got frontpage.
I just hope this doesn't get the front page either. I'm tired of my projects making the front page again and again (currently). 3 projects of mine on the front page in 2 weeks? Well, not very fair for other users.
I usually make projects for fun, and to learn very basic programming techniques. Imo, getting just a few projects on the front page is better than having most of them up there, because then getting something on the front page is special. No offense Oldschooler, all of your projects that made the front page deserved it. :)
Wow, how does it feel having everyone of you're projects you make(other than this and the Apoligies one) on the front page? I'm serious, because I've never gotten a project on the front page, and I probably won't, so what does it feel like?
Yeah, I could see that a lot of the scripts were influenced by the scripts in archknight's adventure but they weren't copied directly. You should try to compact your scripts more. Try to get as much code as you possibly can in to one forever block.
I had originally intended for Archknight's Adventure to be the sequel to mario recharged. But then I changed it to a knight because I wanted it to be more unique. I like how this project isn't a direct copy of Archknight's Adventure (like juzzyboy's legends game) although it uses some of the codes from the engine :)
Demo of the REAL DEAL sequel to archmage's Mario Recharged. I kind of copied the scrolling code from Archknights Adventure, but I made my own code for this. No enemies as of yet or powerups but do note THIS IS A DEMO.
Feel free to use the code and/or the mario sprite as you wish. Credit would be greatly appreciated.
Currently this is one of the fastest mario games ever made on Scratch (that I know of)
This is much faster when downloaded and seen in presentation mode.

Well, if you were like davidchen and made like 30 dummy accounts to give loveits then you do have control over what you want on the front page.

That is true, archmage.

Getting on the frontpage is overrated. You won't get famous or anything by having your project on the frontpage.

btw, this game looks cool! I can't wait to see the final version. :)

Also: Not every project of mine makes front page. Just the ones I actually try hard on make it.

Jman720: It's flattering to see my project on the front page but really I don't mind. I just make projects for fun.

Well, not all of the code from archknights adventure. Just an improvisation, because I don't like using other people's code.
