An example of a thunderstorm that will be in the game. It is just a demonstration, so here lightning appears more often than it will in the real game. This includes two types of lightning:
-distant lightning and
-close-up lightning, the one that will sometimes strike the tree and the uni, if it stands under the tree.

oh. It's different for everybody.
But if I do (press the green flag), the gaps appear.
And the rain works fine for me online, even if I don't refresh or press the green flag.

aww... well it works good in Scratch, at least for me.
And refreshing does not necessarily fix it, it just changes it. Refreshing some times makes the gaps in the rain smaller, and some times bigger.
I loads instantly for me... why doesn't it load online for you?
Really? Well I didn't check the online version because I could never get it to load.
Pressing the green flag didn't do anything, but after I refreshed it worked fine.

Nikkiperson: yeah that's exactly what I did, if you didn't download it. For some reason it doesn't work for the first time. Just press the green flag again and it should work fine. :)
Very realistic and nice sound effects! Though if you stare at the black part of the screen than it looks like there are volcanos and smoke is coming out of them. And also check out this cool game I made! (link to project)
you could mkae two exact rain sprites(duplicate the first) and just put different speeds on the second one to make the gap fill in.

Well that is hard and almost impossible to make because it depends not only on the timing but also on your computer speed.
i think it is good but you should make it so there is no gaps in the rain
