Anyways, not much to say here, I'm quite proud with the result although it took some time to force myself to start working on it. xD
The lighting was really scary to do because I've never done it that way before. O.o
Yes it IS Disney style. >:D Five people noticed that already, so you WON'T be original if you say it looks like Lion King. >:3
Hawktalon and background drawn in Paint.NET, rocks drawn in Photoshop.
There is a plain version and a version with effects.

If you made an animation with these graphics (hopefully something with Hawktalon), that'd be INCREDIBLE! Of course, if it took 16 hours per frame, a five second animation with fifteen frames per second would take 1200 hours (or 50 days). Though you would probably edit the frames for new ones, so most likely less. Anyway, what are the chances of that animation? It'd get too boring to work on (unless you were strongly motivated)...

If you look at the full resolution picture you can see that I do have lineart, but it's not black. ^^

I just noticed that if you click on the picture, the lighting will change. What I saw was a slightly dark picture before. That was excellent. But when I clicked on the picture, it went brighter. So amazing! A glorious sunset with a handsome wolf in the last vestiges of light. Sorry about the over-expressive words and sentences; I was writing from the heart.

Hey, MyRedNeptune! Just saying hi cos I haven't been on in a while, and just telling you I'm still alive! lol XD Anyway how do you do a transparency effect? I've tried everything, and nothing works! I no u r doing a guide, but can you tell me plz?
You do it just like with a normal color. Choose a color in the Color panel and click on "More". The transparency slider is at the very bottom. By default transparent colors overlay and blend into the colors beneath when filling in a space. If you want the transparent color to replace the colors beneath, set the mode to Overwrite (click the button on the top representing two boxes, a red one and a blue one)
(view all replies)Scratch does not support half-transparent colors made in Paint.NET. If you're talking about something else, please explain to me better. I didn't quite understand your question. Are you talking about how to fill in with a half transparent color with the bucket tool or how to make a color fade into transparency?

I've never liked MS Paint and Paint.NET is sorta noobish if you look at it professionally, but it has an easy interface and that's what I like about it. ^^
