Brilliant Music! I downloaded it, as you said in the Project Notes, made a few changes so it worked online, and uploaded it again! It is at (link to project) . So if you want to play it online, go there!
this is the original version. I know, I told you it wouldn't work xD lol. It is possible to recode it so that it will be less laggy but it's very hard. I won't do it, sorry.
btw, it does not work online, so if you use it, you will have to make people download your project and perform the same proccess I described in the project notes xD
I'm holding [Shift], but nothing's happening! D: (I feel like such a n00b not knowing stuff about Scratch.... like all of the "source code" stuff. I have NO clue what that means... )
Sadly, I have no idea what it's name is. :( If you download the source project it's called "the show must go__". I searched for it on Google and I didn't find anything. Such a pity. It would really help if I could find a high quality version of the piece. ---- and yeah, transcribing is fun :D
Wow... This is impressive... It must have taken a looong time to type in all the beats and such. By the way, did you received 1.4 beta test invitation? It looks great...
Those features could be useful! I was wondering if the Scratch Team would include "custom" blocks that would perform long pieces of scripting within a single block. I guess not though.
1. Download and open in Scratch. 2. Click on Edit/Set Single Stepping/Turbo Speed. 4. Right-click on the "START" sprite in the sprite menu and click on "Show". 5. Enter presentation mode and click on the START! button.
Yay, I makes MOAR music! This time I decided to try out this song here: (link to project)
OMG I did 120 seconds of music!! >.< I might do the whole song later. It's more challenging than the previous song because it has different instruments. Yeah... it might not all be accurate because I don't have the note sheet and I did only what I heard. But I'm actually proud of it. I like how it turned out. ^_^ Gah! It gets so crappy from round 5 on! It's such a damn challenging part, and I was really confused with it because I didn't know what instruments to use. There was a bass, the main violin, a bit of flute, two cellos and something like pizzicato strings along with the drums. Bleh, there was something else, some kind of triangle thingy, but I didn't find any suitable instruments in Scratch to make that sort of sound. D: *failishness* WAAHHHH!!! ~Oh no! I missed the guitar!! Dx
I didn't do the trill at the end of round 8 because it sounded weird. O.o I replaced it with a random note.

You hold [Shift] and click the "Extras" button at the top at the same time. Then you release [Shift] and click on "Set single stepping"/"Turbo speed"

(view all replies)ok! By the way, do you know if it's possible to get java for ipod?
(view all replies)cool! if only I had java on my ipod, I could make ipod apps on scratch with a small screen! It'd be cool if there was an ipod version of scratch.
(view all replies)Ah thanks, I got it. ^^
