someone should make one. it should be an ovorture including lots of futuristic programming type music, and stuff and stuff included in scratch and stuff about nevrmnd
Excellent! Instead of letting sprite2 broadcast "start" in loop3 you could copy the musical structure (your "loop-analysis") to the melody in sprite3, break up that one and insert "when I receive loop (n)" hats. Thee loops seem to be sequential from loop4 on anyway, so this shouldn't be much work. But I'm sure that this will synchronize your wonderful song perfectly and result in one of the very best musical Scratch projects ever!
Download the 7 sprites and 86 scripts of "Scratch Music" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
In order to test my music abilities, I decided to make some music in Scratch. It's such a great tool for music-making, isn't it? So, I tried to recreate this little song in Scratch: http://www.imeem.com/minh211085/music/-qaC79Po/hayao-miyazaki-itsumo-nando-demo/ It's called Itsumo Nando Demo and it's quite simple, it has only musicbox, so I was able to focus on the actual melody. It's not finished yet...
It might work online. Or it may not. If it doesn't, please follow the steps on my other music project: (link to project)
Note: if your RAM is logged or if you have other memory-consuming tasks running, it might not work so well... I'm not Jens, I can't make self-correcting music systems!

No wait, nvm, there is no Scratch theme song.

(view all replies)I don't know the Scratch theme song. But from this video I'm sure I like the song, LOL.
How did u make this?!? Did u say 'play note whatever' for 'how ever many beats' or was it something more or less complex?
You can check out the scripts O.o
(view all replies)Epic awsome. great tune

I agree with Jens, it's one of the best musical projects ever.

(view all replies)Very cool! It sounds kind of like a lullabuy. ^_^ Very soothing.
Oh yes it does. ^^ Thank you
Awesome!
Thank you ^_^
0_o how did you do that?!
Do what?
OMG it doesn't work D: The main melody is out of beat. I should make the main melody dependant then.
