Hello Kitty is constantly discriminated for her babyishness and gay(as in happy) behaviour. Hello Kitty possesses none of these qualities. Hello Kitty Facts Hello Kitty originated in Japan about 90 years ago. She was created because women wanted new styles of clothing. They invented Hello Kitty as a fashion statement, and China and Hong Kong caught on to this fashion very quickly. Soon, a business was started called Sanrio. Sanrio got Hello Kitty's trademark and also invented friends for Hello Kitty including Mimmy, her younger sister, Badzt Maru, a penguin, Deery Lou, a deer, My Melody, a bunny and Cinnanom Roll, a dog. Since then all the other Sanrio characters have become famous and fashionable for all ages. Today, Hello Kitty hasn't quite yet earnt the fashion statement from Australian people, but she is well on her way with her friends closely behind. All the information in this project is true, so please accept Hello Kitty into Australia!! =) =) =)
