Yep, I just looked up the definition and S65 and TextingMobileManic are correct: "A tessellation or tiling of the plane is a collection of plane figures that fills the plane with no overlaps and no gaps." So when I create the next version I'll change the name.

change the name it isnt a tessilation because of the gaps. its just a pattern.
