I know that it points to the mouse. I'm saying that if the mouse is to the left of the character, the gun faces backwards. It's a Flash player glitch that automatically centers the sprite.

ok, GREAT job on getting the froint page, but i have some constructive critzisum. portal, is supposed to be a puzzel game, but this litterly level 1 twice, only it has glados on level 2. this game needs some more levels, becouse right now, portals are usless.this game has A tonof glitches, but becouse of the shortage of gameplay, i don't think this desrves friont paged. mabye put a little more effort, and it will be perfect. :)
This isn't very constructive. The creator of this project must already know that Portal is a puzzle game, that he/she literally put Level 1 twice, and that this has a ton of glitches. It was made with Scratch. What did you expect? Even the title implies 'Portal Scratched..... with a twist.' It's already twisted in its own way, and I'm sure Medic will find ways to improve this project. By the way, this is a curated project, and 'front paged' is mostly determined by the statistics...

I did the 'Go To' block over and over again until I found out I had a rogue 'Forever' block. XD

The arms are supposed to rotate. The arm is 'fixed' so that when the character jumps the arms aren't 5 million miles in the sky.
