Download the 3 sprites and 9 scripts of "Simple Circuit v1" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Inspired by orelochana's Electrical Circuit animation. In this version you can drag the components around. When the switch is connected, moving the mouse over it switches it on but the bulb will only light up if all three components are connected (although it doesn't matter where. Holding down the space bar replaces all of the parts with their circuit drawing symbol.

Hmm, never noticed that. Still, I made this a looooong time ago, and there are other things that I would like to change about it too.
1 problem you can short circuit it and the light still goes on

Don't move too fast when dragging the components as if you do they get left behind and dropped (due to the web version being a bit laggy).
