I got your message of "How to get Xbox Live for free?". Umm, I'm not sure that's possible. But if your lucky enough you might get one of those 2 week bonus Xbox Live cards that come with a game that you bought for Xbox 360. That's what I did for Gears Of War 1, I got the 2 weeks gold membership for Xbox Live. Remember all of this does sound awesome, but you have to keep the long code that comes with the game.
(view all replies)There are many other bad features about VB, but I don't know them right now. However, C# does not have these flaws. Of course, all languages have flaws, but c# has less. And plus, c# is more needed then VB out in the programming world. Java is even better then c# because of a few features, including how they use namespaces. But really, those are the languages I have favorited and know the best. (even though I know NO VB, my dad does, so he told me).

If you create a new variable and you then you try to use it but spell it wrong, VB isn't going to say "there is no decleration statement to this variable, are you sure it is a new variable", instead, it creates a new variable on the spot, and therefore you're now 2 variables, do not coincide. So, you don't even know whats wrong with your program, because VB thinks that everything is fine.
(view all replies)ok, I have tried to post this comment hundreds of time, so now I will shorten it. VB is bad because it declares variable for you. So you don't have to write "int" or "float" or "double". Sounds like a cool feature, right?
im getting ready for something like a game. I am going through different 3d tools and trying to learn as much about them as possible. I life blender the most so far. And the fact that you can CODE in python, allows the opportunity for a game. Pretty much all my like I have wanted to become a computer programmer and create a video game. So thats why I want to do that. And if you mean game as in the game feature on blender, the I guess... but I just want to learn everything about Blender.

then your game doesn't suck and I did over react. I just don't like people who don't know the first thing about programming other then scratch telling me my projects suck. You were right and I was wrong... but I don't see why you didn't like this project. It was just a school thing. And have you checked out my super mario dynamics? I never really finished it because it was WAAAAAAAAY too laggy, but it was a really cool scroll method that I'm ok with you using... and blender is not programming.
and plus, I know that YOU would never reach my programming level unless yoiu study it in college. I program in c#, java, html, xml, and processing, and to top it all off, this stupid language called scratch.

Plus, I have been top veiwed, downloaded, but never top loved. At least I don't try to manipulate people with fancy menus. Plus other then this project, and a few other school projects, I haven't uploaded a single thing since I was 10 years old! so back off NOOB.

The scroll bar, with buttons that move!, is a neat touch. Explain how you did it.
I made each button use scroll Y and changed each of their scroll Y's by 80 to give them enough space. Then, instead of using arrow keys to control the scrolling, I made it SET the scroll Y to the y position of the scroll bar minus 180. I made the scroll bar follow you're mouse by unlocking the little lock under the sprite's properties, which allows the sprite to be dragged. The scroll bar is glitched online, so you will have better performance if you download it.
