Thanx: I'm happy that some of my old project gets so much attraction again. It's one of my own favorites too, cause it's really a kind of interactive art. Somebody must have put it in a real high frequented Gallery :-)
This is marvelous! I love art you can play with! You might appreciate my Clockwork Kit project. It's not as slick but is made in a similar spirit. (link to project)
If you like art you can play with I have a project called adjustable art builder that you might like. It has a star sprite that can be changed into six different shapes and constantly stamps images of itself, changes size color and rotates, depending on how high you set the rotate effect. You can also tell it how long to wait before moving and adjust how many times it gets bigger and smaller so I think you might like it.
Hi Larry. I'm glad you like "Sounds of Gravity". But there is no "mystery": I don't use "play sound" but "play note" in the Sprites. By adding small times of changing notes I get the interesting sound-effects. Perhaps you are interested in the related discussion about volume and pitch control blocks at: (link to forums)
Endless fun! And mysterious. I checked all the sprites for sounds: there aren't any. Only the Stage has a sound: a chord. So where do all the sounds come from?? There are variables that refer to sounds...but I'm just now trying to learn about how variables function. Would you have any helpful hints on various uses of variables? Thanks! [Maybe I should load Sounds of Gravity when my computer boots so I'll have constant wonderful background sounds.... :-) ]
Work of Art to play with
The Gravity Blocks produce funny sounds while bouncing between the different centers of gravity.
Make the edges or circles to centers to Gravity Centers by clicking it. Shift the Gravity blocks from the blue to the white area to activate or deactivate them.
If you don't move the gravity centes or blocks, the system will do it for you every 10 seconds.
Use Cursor keys to change the size of the objects.
Use Space to get new Blocks with differnt sound and colors.
Use the 1+2 Key to have a spinning antigravitation beam
"Sounds Of Gravity" was inspired

Amazing
Woha
very annoying but kinda fun!
This sounds like the world's most epic final boss fight... *thinks back to the GameCube Paper Mario game*
That boss is really annoying. Just when you know she's a few more attacks from death, she kills you.
Anoying noise, but fun!

cornshot: Most of the scripts are copies :-) . The project has only a few source sprites that are cloned multiple times.
Great game by the way

It took a few evenings of playing with Scratch :-)
Nice project! How long did this tack to.
BRAVO!
The more I listen to this, the more I like it. Wonderful work!
me like!
Nicely made
That's whacky
Amazing!:)
There's always room for the weird and the whacky - and this certainly fits right into that category. Very strange, but fascinating.
Nice Job.
Thank you John, I worked around the bug and now it works!
Yep, there's a bug in the player. See my response to your question in the forums for more details. I'll fix it soon.
