I think Draw Your Game is a LITTLE better than this. For a start, the ball needs to be a better colour because i can hardly see it. Second, water and lava have the same effect. Third, you should include gravity, and a tool to change the pen size. This way, you can edit water so that you can swim in it. You should be able to change the speed of the ball, and the height tht you can jump. By the way, water would be quicker to drw and swim in if you did make a pen size tool.
sorry archmage but this game is a little bit better. (I mean no offence in this comment and this comment is protected by law from being deleted) (not really) :)

So you mean to make this into a game all by itself - that may be a nice idea - all you would have to do is make a couple of levels and throw in a couple sprites and scripts. I'll consider it.
Actually, that idea might make a pretty good puzzle solving game all on it's own. You have a goal to get to and a bunch of "elevators" and "conveyor belts" and other things that you have to assemble in to a contraption that gets you where you want to go.
Maybe - but still the way they move and the sensitivity to the ground. I don't know, but feel free to download and edit. Add the suggestion if you'd like.
I'm thinking of a button like "ground" and "lava" that says "Parts" or something. When clicked, an inventory of pre-made sprites is shown. If the sprites are moved from their original locations, it is assumed that the user wants to use them and they are activated. There would also have to be a "Return Parts" procedure to put them away, so they could be turned off. You've got me thinking now!
Interesting suggestion - but, I would rather the game be a little less specific. I think of it more like a simple level program. Becoming more specific would make it more unorganized - In a way.
It would be pretty easy to add moving elements on to this if you wanted to. Just make up some draggable sprites (black of course) that have some simple motions pre-programed in them (up a few steps, down a few steps and so on) and let the user put them where they want. They could be hidden if they were not in use. Or, you could make them change costumes to one with white gaps in it, disappearing floors!
"Easy start", my a**! I got a little further this time, made it to the second blob. Found the nearly invisible red dot the hard way (thanks for that!). But I could not get to the goal after about 50 attempts. I think I'll stick to mini-golf!
I guess the best way to jump the farhtest, is to go as close to the edge as possible and jump wile holding the left or right arrow key. It's good to know that my pre-made levels are challenging. BY the way, my dad made the third "open" level. lol.
Very nice interface and design but I must be doing something wrong. I tried the easy start to get a feel for how it worked. But I couldn't get to the second level, the little round guy wouldn't jump high enough! Tell me what I am doing wrong?
Well, honestly, I have been using Scratch for 2 years. But the best way to have good projects is to Brainstorm. Jot down ideas in a notebook; that's where I keep all of mine!
very nice sorry for my annoying 5 year old sis bugging u she is in trouble she is cei2. could u give me tips on my games?
Download this project!
Download the 19 sprites and 37 scripts of "Pathway" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Draw your own level, and then press "go!", use the arrow keys and the space key to move around. To pause your level and edit it, press "Stop!". Very simple game, please leave comments and/or ideas. More coming soon. Also, works WAY better when downloaded. Much better graphics (It's worth downloading). Have fun and, SCRATCH ON!
P.S. Now, it comes with 3 pre-made levels in "Open"
And - I forgot to mention, you CAN edit the opened levels.

any ur choice
Did I mention that you can edit the opened tracks?
Bah! The first level, the easy start is the hardest lol. I completed the other tracks in no time at all. Make a remix, with a easier start!
Barely no time at all I should say - Midterms, tests!
Thanks! I might do that. So many ideas, so little time!

There are always choices to be made in the design process. That's what makes it fun!

lol - I guess I forgot to mention . . .
Ahh! It just got a whole lot easier. I realized (finally) that I could edit your Open Level by adding my own lines in. Now it is easy! Cool....
