Yeah. I just need to work on this more. Because I'm on vacation I can't, because i'm on a different computer and I won't download it, but I plan to add other textures, and perhaps make it sidescrolling. And from your other reply, I've seen it, and its pretty good.
Nice. Uses lists? I tried to make something like that but it didn't work out too well, just because a sensor wouldn't sense when it was touching a color.
Uses lists? Heck yeah. If there were no lists it wouldn't do anything. The ball does not color sense, and each block is not its own sprite. The location of each block is stored in the list, and all the time it is checking if there is a block under it.
Lol :P 2 sprites doesn't mean much if you want to check how complex something is. Neither is how many scripts actually. Well somewhat. Yeah I got some inspiration from archmage and then I saw that was the same as JSO, so I checked his out, and then maked my own by using my own scripts and one or 2 of his (so the movement system is still quite different). And I got this with multiple updates.
In this project you can create your own level by click on the area you want to change to and if its currently air, then it will become ground, and if its currently ground, it will become air. Of course at the same time, it starts with a custom stage, and it doesn't use any sensor blocks (a.k.a. touching color blank and such). Instead it looks if the array section below the ball is ground, and if so it will stop. It also senses in all 4 directions. It works pretty much nearly perfect!

Great job! I made an awesome maze with it!
Cool!
cool :D
Thanks!
You talked about making a scrolling one of these... I'm going to download and see what I can do...
Thats ok. I didn't expect it to be with 2 sprites. I'd be suprised if you could! I'll probably work on this sometime...
:D
(view all replies)You haven't made a project in a while... I hope you'll make one soon!
Again, I'm on vacation in Poland, so I can't use scratch. By school I'll probably be making projects assuming I don't have too much homework.
cool But my favorite is mario level creator

Best game i ever played!
Hey
http://scratch.wikia.com/wiki/User:Lucario621 I took a couple hours of my time to make this sort of autobiography thing.
Hey :P
thats really good...
Thanks! I plan to make it sidescroll, so you can edit even more, and make it like a mario game!

(view all replies)It would be good if you had red for lava and green for finish
Yeah, another person mentioned how there should be different colors, and maybe (now that I think of it) different textures, for example lava.
this game is good and I trapped the red ball somewhere in the black ground!
Hmm. Well as long as it doesn't happen its fine. I hope you like it a lot :) I might incorporate this into some kind of game.
i wish there were different colors
Not a bad idea. Definately possible to be done. Maybe an extra menu on the bottom/side allowing you to change colors.
(view all replies)Beast! Sick and Totaly AWESOME!
all right I guess you did it a more complex way that I thought.. but it's pretty impressive
I thought you had it really complex but then I saw "2 sprites" and now I gotta check it out

Wicked Dude
super cool
Awesome!
i love it!
D-= w-w-wow.
ok this is kinda basic...make it more advanced. i want to be able to customize like i can do in scratch (change gravity, player speed, etc)
nvm this is not basic. i checked the script.
(view all replies)I love it!!!!!!!!!!
nice!
cool!
Cool! Very nicely done project. As Bob said, this really deserves a feature on the front page. :D
this should be on the front page... awesome job!
Works really well! Clever system to use instead of sensing!
Though I do have to say I give credit to JSO for a bit of the tile creating system.
Awesome!!! This is one of the best projects I've ever seen.
