Amkf , to become Hyper Sonic , you have to collect the Super Chaos Emeralds.

ok. super emeralds were introduced in 1993 or 1994 (i'm not sure) unlike chaos emeralds, they promote hyper transformation. talking about hyper transformation, its super shadow, not hyper. hyper shadow was a mistake in the sonic adventure 2 manual.

Im confused. Ive been super sonic before, by collecting all the emeralds. But whats Hyper sonic? How do you become him? Or are they the same thing?
sonic becomes super sonic if he collects all the chaos emeralds, he becomes hyper sonic if he has all the super emeralds. the super emeralds only appear in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which can be found in sonic classic collection.

i hAVE ALL SUPER EMERALDS ON SONIC 3 AND KNUCKELES AHH HYPER KNUCKLES AND HYPER SONIC!
In that game I have Hyper Sonic, Hyper Knuckles, and Super Tails! (which super tails is unlocked by collecting all the super emeralds.
I like the chaos emeralds. Oh, and, by the way, in case you didn't know, Sonic turns into Hyper Sonic when he gets the Super Emeralds. It's possible that the Super Emeralds are really just the chaos emeralds nearby the Master Emerald. Just sayin' in case anyone didn't know.
