this is the best project EVER i absolutelly love it you should make something that you might crash into but keep the rest the same! BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST PROJECT EVER EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
my first time the map portrayed me like i was an idiot :( but after that it got easier. it took me a while to get used to it, but awesome game! *love-it*
O... M... G... This must have taken LOT of work! Had it taken over 5 hours in total? How many Lists and Variables did it take? LOVE the way the instruments work. And the map... the way you used the pen as the player... AWESOME! Congradulations on having it featured! I hope you make more projects like this in the future and maybe even become a curator!
Wow! Thanks for all of your comments, Ultra! I don't think it's as complicated as you may think it is. Please feel free to open it up and have a look. Being featured was such a nice surprise, I really didn't expect it! As far as other projects like this one, I've already started one ;)
Spectacular sim! For some reason, though, all my passengers had grabbed their parachutes and exited the plane after only the first three targets! When I saw the map at the end I realized why... Thanks for a great piloting experience, even if the passengers felt a little sick. Thanks!
It's so cool!!!!! It's a creative idea, a very good simulation, a very great job and the graphics are fantastic! That's a thing that I like too much! Very congrats for the featured project! very well!
This is really cool. I have flight simulator x and this uses the instruments really well. The one thing I love about flight simuator is leting the plane land it's self. I also like the 3d look of the instruments.
Cool, I like how it connects the dots while you are flying and then shows you the finished picture. I didn't notice how squiggly I was flying! xD Very nice!
cool! eccelent job on the instruments, especially the attitude indicator.(the middle instrument) got all 9! maybe this can be useful in my flight sims...
Hi Timothy :)
I will add some more information in the Project Notes beside the project. I was worried that I hadn't been very clear, but I just wanted to upload it and make sure it worked correctly first. Thanks for trying it out so quickly!
A very simplified version of navigating an airplane using only the instruments.
Connect the Dots... but the dots are invisible.
Once you press SPACE to start, your plane will be flying towards the top of the screen. You can't see it though, so you'll have to use your Heading Indicator (the left orange circle). It shows you what direction your plane is flying in. The right orange circle instrument labelled as "bearing", will always point from your plane to the next target (where you are supposed to fly to). Using your right and left arrow keys, turn your plane so that the "heading" lines up with the "bearing". The middle instrument is your "horizon line". It's just a quick visual clue to let you know if you're plane is turning or flying straight. Once you've got your heading needle pointing in the same direction as your bearing needle, the distance counter should be counting down. That means that you're flying towards the target, and (hopefully obviously) getting closer to it. When you're within 2 units, the light will come on and a tone will sound. If you get to 1 unit from the target, then your bearing needle will switch to the next target. Keep going until you've got all 9 targets, and then the map will show you where the targets were and how you flew to get to them.
If you're having trouble visuallizing it, try it for a minute and then press 'x'. That will stop the game and reveal the map, and your route up to that point.

Nice! A bit twitchy - turning could be smoother; But I like the idea. The map of the actual route flown is a nice touch.
great!
cool, i like it a lot
Dumb and pathetic
Thats not a very helpful or nice comment. If you don't like it, why not say how you think it could be improved?

Congratulations, Logank. This project is featured.
Cool, a very creative idea! It's simple, easy, and works properly, love&fav!
wow... this is love-it and favorited. Great job! I am a horrible night pilot.
Really cool! I think you should add a starting dot and Daedskin thinks the pen color should change every target you get.
I like both of those ideas! I'll definately make those changes when I update this project. :D
oops that was an accident nice project though
