This was not designed to be a game, it was designed to be a simple paint program that a young child (eg. my little cousin) could use to make a picture. If it is boring for you you can play something else. Also it helps legibility if you do not write like tHs! ;)

Yes, layers would probably work just put a sprite behind all of the buttons and turn the stage into a new sprite and tell it to go to front. My OS Spaces does this kind of thing with the desktop and stuff.

In the next version you should make it so that you can only draw in the drawing area. Other than that, its very very good! I like the cat!
