Oh, and for all of you pointing that this project is not about the whole theory of evolution: You are right! I am just trying to lay the framework for everyone to work off of if they wish to learn more!
Thank you all for commenting! I respect everyone's views no matter what they are. I will not express mine here because I don't want this to turn into a battlefield! I am not trying to pressure anyone with this project, just try to help those who are learning about Evolution make it "click"!

I get back and find my project featured and has over 100 views! Thanks!
PS: I will try to make improvements to the project but it could take a wile.
I strongly recommend that you form your opinions by looking at evidence rather than blindly believing what other people tell you. You had better pray that your family doctor believes in evolution, next time you have a bacterial infection - otherwise he might treat you with the medicine that stopped working 50 years ago, when the bacteria evolved.
Natural selection is part of the theory by which we attempt to explain evolution. Although this project doesn't mention random mutation, which it should, in order to explain better how the different characteristics that might be "selected" arise in the first place.
The process of evolution is an observed, recorded, scientifically verified fact. It happens, and denying that it happens is wilful ignorance. The only question is HOW it happens, something addressed by the Theory of evolution. That doesn't mean the theory is correct, but it is the only genuine theory we have that stands up to scrutiny and with which valid predictions can be made.
Evolution is not a scientificly verified fact. It is not observed either. There are no records from millions of years ago. And actually I believe that God created the earth around 6000 years ago.
Hi Linux123, this is a great project, I think you did an excellent job!! One thing you may want to consider is the use of the word "improve" to talk about changes over time. It is natural to think about evolution as a process that leads to greater complexity (hence improvement) over generations, but strictly all that is occurring is (largely random) adaptation... there is no "ultimate goal". It is a VERY SMALL point, and overall I think it is a GREAT project!
:-)
of course. that is why it is called "faith". you have faith in it even though you are risking the chance of it might not being true. (and if there was no God, how would all the elements and atoms and everything create themselves in the first place?[sorry, i ran out of room])
God and science are both real! God created science as a balanced system to keep the universe running smoothly. using miracles all the time would make everything unbalanced. miracles are the patches and science is the script of the program of the universe.
Evolution is a proven, observed fact. Only the process is theoretical - and in science, Theory means 'tested rigourously, tested, tested again - still appears to be true and there is no evidence to suggest it isn't.'
This projects will generate many more interesting questions that would be good to answer. Maybe you and others interested in how evolution works should create a series of projects that answer a lot of those questions.

you know why hospitals are germ infested? because the bacteria EVOLVED (key word) to live with anti-biodics and not die.

Actually, this is not talking about evelution at all. What you were just talking about is called natural selection.

The problem is, humans have slowed down our evolution to almost 100 times slower of a rate... so we dont really evolve...
