Version 1.1 This is my first Scratch program, just trying to learn the basics and teach my son some tricks. The game has 5 levels with different backgrounds and increasing alien speed. Instructions: 1. From the startup screen, select your difficulty level 2. Use the arrow keys (left and right) to move the base 3. Use SPACE to fire a rocket Enjoy! Changelog: v1.1: Added difficulty levels, base no longer moves back to the center between levels.

Nice! You can get smoother key response (at some cost in performance) if you test on Key Left/Right Arrow Pressed in a forever loop (from the Sensing family) instead of using the When Key Left/Right Arrow Pressed control structure. See my Power Shovel 1.0 project for an example. Still, very good for a first project, I'm impressed!
