Kanji are Japanese characters, that originally come from China (so it is possible that some of the kanji also work in chinese). Touch the kanji with the mouse-pointer to learn how they are pronounced and what they mean and to get help to memorize them. Ganbatte!!

Very nice ! And I actually knew one of those ! The mountain. ( I learned it from a Tcl/Tk script, AnimatedKanji. ) I would be happy to see this project improved with more words.

I just found out that i screwed up one character. Sorry.yuki - snow is wrong. The character actually means ame - rain. They look quite similar. ^^;;;
