Reply on OJY321's comment, those ARE required for a good jump, if you only use those variables you named you get a linear-like jump, with DX, and DY (Delta X, Delta Y, YES it does "agree" with the English language), you can get parabolic jumps, as it supposed to be. And as for the variables do not "agree" with the English Language, well, name 'em, PlayerRX = Player's RealX, because the built-in X will only change the X position on the screen, with a RealX you can change a coordinate without any visual effect on the sprite, so you can use it for other instances.
By the way, on Balorg's side scroll programme you said that this is how you really do it, his is surposed to be a different type of side scroll, not the type like yours where it starts scrolling at a set point.
Ok, currently I am working on 1 really HUGE project, and thinking of a kind of a smaller project... might get a little quiet on the scratch site for a while
also, with all these phisics things you do I would assume you like that sort of thing, so check out the games on my favorites ( except the lines with style thing, its kool but not very scientific) their really awesome
If you say it's bad because the platforms do not block the X, well, read the name of this "JUMP example", I could build it in, but that would be almost a complete game

Nice. Amazing graphics and loads of quality please see my (not so good) project (link to project)

Hmm, I hope the scratch site comes with a ScratchChat™ or something.

Wow! It's much better! You are a genius!
I like the idea you posted on my Super Popcorn Yoshi game! Thanks!

tyvm (:
how do you get it to scroll? post answer on one of my games
Nice!
Hehe, the only project on this whole Scratch site with gravity, where when you fall too hard onto a surface, that you will NOT actually go INTO it :)
well, to cut the time, I didn't want to make 4+ sprites of the same guy, so I just cut his legs, and gave his boots thrusters :P
Oh, including the guy it was 7 minutes and 44 seconds
Everything I've posted I have drawn/rendered myself (except for the MSN, GMaker and hello kitty icons"
The guy, drew it myself, and no, it's only 5 minutes of work, hun :)
You must have worked hard on the program. It is very good! Where did you get the dude guy?
