God needs us to live and stay with him forever in Heaven. We can't reject him! We can make are life worse. Then we can die. And this leads to the broad way! It takes us to Death! And the narrow way takes us to Heaven! And only a few are making it to Heaven and A lot are making it to Death or Hell. So we need to forgive and go back to the Narrow way like Jesus4ever's project called Forgiveness.
Just curious, what makes you Christians believe that your religion is right and others aren't? You've given lots of arguments against Atheism but nothing denying other religions. I could ask this question to any religion and I doubt they'd have any answer. I guess it's just faith or something. (I'm atheist by the way)
I dont' believe that, some do, some don't. I just believe that Jesus was the son of God. I don't believe it is, as you put it "right and others aren't". Mostly because, we are all children of God. You have God-given rights not to believe in him.

No, it isn't. Not in any, possible way. It's not offensive, nor an insult. Should a project expressing the love for the color red be insulting because other's like blue? Not at all. Your comment, however, is offensive to my opinion, calling it an insult. I don't call atheism an insult, nor have I met someone who does.

One rule of physics is that nothing can come out of nothing which sort of disproves the big bang theory!! and also to have a effect there has to be a cause so that also disproves the big bang theory. So people may ask then how did God exist. pyshics applies to only phyical beings, duh physics=physical!!! God is spirit (no not a ghost but he is not physical)

If that's the case, why do try to convert non-believers if god knows that we will never change our minds? (view all replies)I'd just like to clear something up with you. I'm sure many many Christians will have told you that we go to Heaven, but that's not actually what the Bible teaches. The Bible says that the righteous will have everlasting life on a paradise earth. But it does say that a small group of the righteous ones, 144000 to be specific, will go to Heaven. :)

There are christians in north america, there are christians in south america. there are some christians in europe, and there are some in africa. there are still more in asia, and maybe australia (that's the one continent I'm not sure of). Heck, if people lived in anarctica, i'm sure plenty of them would be christian. no other religion is quite so widespread.

In addition, lets not forget that "live and let live" is a fine policy, but in the main it is the religious who are trying to get their views made into law in order to force other people to live the way these Christians want them to. So its rather hypocritical for Christians to start protesting that people are "acting like jerks".

And in the attacks made on *my* projects by alleged christians, I have been called names and faced falsehood many, many times.
I don't like this. (I'm going stop this before it starts: I DO NOT hate other religions. Just to prevent hate mail or whatever.) I mean, believing in God is fine, but trying to steer our path is kind of...y'know...rude, don't you think? Please don't hate me for this.

@atheistwarrior: my first line wa supposed to have a not in it. Its a bad word to leave out when making a point. Christianity is NOT perfect, but we follow a perfect savior and God. If you want an extremely rational argument for Christianity, read the book "The God who is there" by Francis shaifer (I think I spelled that wrong). Or you can email me at jdog314159@gmail.com. Whenever I ask a christian why they don't follow all the rules in the old testament, like not wearing mixed fabrics or not eating shelfish, or cutting their hair, they tell me that since the birth of christ, none of that old testament stuff applies. That's enough. Gods_Girl's comment was put on this project so that she could help her brother. Nothing more, nothing less. A debate was not called for, and was not needed. I, as a Christian, understand that not all people will believe in God. I also know that if you are an athiest, commenting on these projects will only ruin your beliefs and boost up ours. This debate will get worse before it gets better.

(view all replies)Not quite. Occam Razor says that the simplest solution is usually true. So, it is simpler that the matter just got there, or is is simpler that a god just got there, and then he created matter. The first one is simpler, therefore the probability of it being true is higher then the probability of the second one being true. Sure we may never know how the matter for the big bang got there, but it's more likely to have just appeared then for a god to have put it there.

(view all replies)Hey guys, I have a question for you. If god loves everyone and wants them all to go to heaven, and he controls faith, then why do people do bad things and end up in hell? Makes absolutely no sense to me. If he wanted everybody to go to heaven, why would he make them do something bad (you guys believe that god controls everything that happens too, am I right?), which in turn means that they would not end up in heaven? Logic is such a simple thing, why not just use it for once?
(view all replies)ok first of all God CAN control everything, but on most things God just lets things take their natural turn. In The Garden of Eden, Adam & Eve had a choice to sin or not to sin. They chose sin. The consequence was that they would go to hell. To take care of their sins, they had to make sacrifices, but when Jesus came he became our eternal sacrifice, he made it possible for us to go to heaven.
Logic can't prove anything, it can only indicate it.

Nice story but you gave me zero proof. And no, the bible does not count as proof. If something like that had really happened, don't you think more people would have found out? The situation would have been written down in other places. The man was probably delusional. A lot of people were at the time.

Scientists do research, and if they found evidence for god, you would be the first to know. I have no idea what you're talking about with the chariot, but I assure you, since it isn't in creationist debates, it's probably been disproven/deemed insignificant. I spend about 30-40 minutes doing this, around once every couple weeks because it's sometimes fun to debate people. I have a 4.0 GPA, so no I'm not some kind of slacker that spends all day debating you. What about you? I'm quite convinced you spend a lot more time then me on Scratch trying to convert people All I do is try talking common sense into people. What's your GPA? How do I know you're not doing this in school?

I don't see why people complain about it. 1:Their are such things as opinions he's not trying to change people he's just shows people what he believes. 2:Why even looks at the project if you know your not going to like it or it's not what you believe in. 3:I myself am a christian and we don't try and change people unless they want to listen to what we have to say. 4:The world weither your a christian or not isn't perfect because we have differences and their are fights it's what makes us human
Did you see the tone of the project? He obviously wants non-believers to become believers. Why would he feel a need to express his "own" beliefs if you all essentially believe the same thing? Think about it.

I actually feel really hurt that some people frown down at people who aren't christian. I just wanna live my life without being smothered in a bunch of projects and comments saying that I should be christian or whatever. It's my decision in life.
