Jesus4Ever. Just to tell you, no one knows the exact date Jesus was born. It may have not even been in December at all. History cannot figure that out yet and probably never will. Anyways, cool project! I hope to see more of you on Scratch. Why did you quit?

oh, yeah, i have actual quotes from the bible that show that an all-loving creator could not have written it, rather, it was written by primitive men who made up a god. proof:

Noah's ark was found and hidden by the goverment, but churches found out. There is a God and there was a reason. Refer to the story of Noah's ark!!!!!

um, but doesn't this "wonderful" book also contain info on keeping slaves and why women don't have the some rights as men? People should not be reading and believing such outdated info!

Um, you are are forgetting to mention the Old Testament!!!! Jesus would have never existed without it!!! He was Jewish and the Old Testament was all about Judaism. So don't forget Jesus of Nazareth's roots!!!

It is good to see the subject debated - and if it the book were just an offbeat creation of a minority - how is it it has become the best selling book of all time. The mistake is to take it as literal - rather than allegorical

That's when they say he was born, not when he died. He died on Good Friday. I don't believe any of that but that's what Christians say...

I don't really want to be mean but... Well, Christmas is in the winter, right? Well, shepherds would not be outside in the winter, lambs would not have been recently born, and no one know when Jesus was born. Also, December 25th is the birthday of Nimrod Re-encarnated (or however you spell it, I have trouble with that word), basically, Nimrod Jr.
You are right Jesus may have not been born on Christmas, but that is a good day to celebrate his birthday in the fact the it's called Christ-mas. And it does say in the bible that Mary and Joseph traveld in very cold weather.

I kind of agree with you. It's more important just to act right because it is the right thing to do rather than to do it to please a god.
I don't mean to be rude or mean, but I think that's the worst position you can choose. Think about it: You have nothing to gain if your right, but everything to lose if your wrong. Where as with Christianity, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose, unless another religon is correct. But, I'm a Christian, so I believe that we are saved by Jesus dying, not living morally good lives.

Republicans in Minnesota? Are you kidding me? Everyone here in Minnesota is a Democrat and I hate it! Where I live, we have a good amount of Republicans, but in St.Paul and Minneapolis, they're ALL Democrats.
I live in Minnesota, I guess it just be my town, because when one person speaks everyone else says the exact same thing pretty much.
Bush starting a war just set me in a bad mood, matter in fact, thats just how Minnesota operates, at least in my town.

please don't make a comment like that. If you disagree with the Bible, don't call it a fable. All non-Christians do this. They say Christians approach on their private lives and then they insult what we believe. I don't mean to be a critic, but if you don't believe, please don't comment that there nice stories, because they really did happen, and history proves it. But let's not get into an argument. I'm happy the way I am, and that's all anyone needs. So you can be a Christian and be happy, and I'll be a Unitarian and be happy. If you're happy, then you don't have to make changes that will make you unhappy :-) Be happy that you've found what made you happy!

You should include more factual content, such as the fact that the Bible is divided into 2 parts, the Old Testament - (which is, fundementally, a corrupted copy of the Jewish Torah), and the New Testament, which is the part that tells the story of Jesus.
The Torah is the first five books of the bible.

Just because you are christian, doesn't mean youll go to heaven, sure, youll have a much higher chance, but you cannot let yourself go.... There are the sacraments and everything, you must never, Ever neglect God exists.

i'm also a christin but unlike most of you people i'm lutheran and went to a private school and we had to go to church every wendsday but then something happend and the school closed (i do't feel like typing it all but the church members voted to close it down it's a lot more then that but that's the main idea) and now i've been going to a public ever since 2 grad
