Wow that is GREATEST PROJECT EVER AND SMART PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm, it works for me. You can open several BYOB sessions at once and make one host a session and the others join it. Then all global variables and broadcasts are shared (and you can also share sprites)
i came up with idea to bring back mesh!! better than ever ok here it is take the networking capabilities of squeak and add a .dll plugin to add to scratch witch is written in c and reports the ip(user) and makes that =ip insteAD OF typing it in or have this dll in the server and make the block retrive ip from server and mesh normaly mesh problem solved i know squeak and
c are compatible cause i saw a library for it to operate off c
hey jens i keep encountering a primitive failed message when i attempt to edit 1.3.1 scource code when i try 2 bring back an obsolete bloc goes completely insane dont let me click anything and wont bring upo scratch window keeps sayin unicode plugin primitive failed i cant even edit code!!! what am i doing wrong noone can tell me im hoping u will know ur the best with this i think i have discovered a glitch in scource code 1.3.1 i cant edit code at all
be sure to get *all* files, including the one named *.sources. Also, you will probably need the DLLs (VM Plugins) and the VM (Scratch.exe) from the v.1.3.1 release, and not the ones that come with 1.4.
Hey Jens ur good with scratch source code, do u know a way to get rid of the cap that makes it so it takes 0.01 seconds between repeats, forevers and suff like that
Great Jens! You're always coming up with new impressive ideas! By the way: I love your new "non-official-nestable-sprite-feature" you demonstrate at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJIZVJyAxgk . I hope it makes it into one of the next Releases.
I love this! It reminds me of those things with the flat plastic lenses on top which moved when you moved your head. Did you create the costumes by hand or programmatically? I don't see any scripts related to that.
Thanks! Well, I created the costumes by stamping the grid over each image and manually switching the stamped color to transparent - not really elegant, I know...
WO. Jeez. thanks jens. I know know how those elusive "holographic" book marks and such work. I've got a huge ripleys Believe it or not book with this trick.
illusion + animation = best mix ever. I can't even figure out how you figured this out o.o. But it's great. Although animation itself is a type of illusion.

(view all replies)Your head is wobbling!!! hahahahaha!
it is short for "moderator" like a member of the scratch team that makes sure that people aren't being mean to each other.
(view all replies)it means that i may be spamming, but that you are not a mod. not trying to be mean or anything.

I put mesh into the new BYOB version. You can downlad and try the release candidate (you'll find the link in forums)

HOW DID YOU DRAW THIS? IS THIS SOME WEIRD PICTURE THINGY? HOW DO I MAKE ONE?
Hey Jens ur good with scratch source code, do u know a way to get rid of the cap that makes it so it takes 0.01 seconds between repeats, forevers and suff like that
it's *not* built-in 0.01 sec delay, but Scratch *is* slow by design. You can either switch to turbo mode or use BYOB's atomicity control
Wow!!!!! You might like this (link to project)
AMAZING
Why am I reminded of the Numa Numa?
jens, koenntest du vielleicht mein projekt german translator angucken? es hat uber 200 woerter die man von english auf deutsch ubersetzen kann!

The book's title in German is TEMPO! by Rufus Butler Seder and Uli Blume
illusion + animation = best mix ever. I can't even figure out how you figured this out o.o. But it's great. Although animation itself is a type of illusion.
That's a very insightful remark about animation itself being a type of illusion, I like it!
awsome how do you do it
i dont get it
drag the thing off to see what the picture really is.
