Fun! It's a good thing I use Alice (a drag and drop 3d animating program), because that means that I answered all but around two of the programming questions right!
Can I change the look of the variables? (textstyle, background) Or is it a diference between Scratch on my computer and in this JAVA applet? Sometimes I would prefer another color than orange ;-)
There is a way for a purple large display (weird that rhymed!): you make a sprite and repeatedly copy a 1-pixel costume. Then you display costume number and make a variable that sets the costume number. You now have a purple number only display! WOW not
Your projects are not only fascinating but are extremely instructive! Thanks! I downloaded this project, studied the scripts, and found everything but: the questions and answers!! Where are they, and how are they included in the project?
Hi Larry828, how nice to see you again! I'm glad you like this project. The questions and answers are indeed not easy to find, they're persistent in a list named 'quiz'. You can view/edit this list (only) by switching to the variables page and by selecting the check mark besides the list reporter for 'quiz'. Please let me know if that does not work for you.
hmm, I'm not that familiar with Flash, so I'm afraid I'll have to pass on that one... (But archmage and chalkmarrow seem to have collaboratively found out everything anyway)
"Heresey" is a characteristic of OOP - works for me! Very nicely done, sure to be useful. I had the same problem as DarthPickley with the "N" not doing anything at the end. Love it!
lol. love it! This will be useful in a lot of contexts. The questions/answers themselves are hilarious, also. You sure that Beethoven didn't right that Schubert piece ?
At the end, if you press "N", nothing happens, and Scratch keeps saying "would you like to play again? (press y/n)". when you do that, then it should be like "Ok, goodbye!" and then walk off, and then the screen shuts down.

We could all use Scratch 1.4 and add the ask button nowadays, but this is sincerely cool. However how the cat runs is confusing.
The 1.3 online variable glitch >:( stretched variable bubbles

Are you a moderator of scratch? if you are thats really awsome! PLZ CHECK OUT MY PROJECTS!
I can't read the entire question... it cuts off on the edge of the screen for some reason...
hmmm, that's weird, but I cannot reproduce it... I'll investigate, thanks!
(view all replies)hi. I was wondering if you could come look at my projects: Cylinder cReator, and drawing101, and drawing whiz. I would like ur opinion.:)

Cool. I guess.
It 's possible to press 1,2,3 or 4.Why ? I download the script but i don't understand this.
Very good idea. But very hard for me !!
Hard But fun
Wow, nice.

you mean like Carl Orff remixed that song by Michael Jackson? haha.

Weak Interacting Something Particle
scratch is programmed in sneeze?
heh heh heh, the one about the symphony #9 being... well, I won't give away the answer, but that was kind of funny.
cleaver!!!!!!!!!
Amazing. I like the "Hmm"-thought balloons a lot ;)
Great! It works so much alike a real TV contest. When we quit with “N” the message of the kitty isn’t erased.
your're right, ffred, pressing "n" doesn't do anything yet. Thanks for reminding me!
Cool!
