hey i just added your project to my new gallery
i love it! check out my keyboard i just created with a recording function, and let me know what you think

Woah. When you set all instuments to 128 (Proving that you can make music out of gunshots) it sound like some kind of dramatic drumbeat. I've never really looked at your music projects before (I'm not much of a musician) but they are amazing!
Jens: I like your idea of putting together a gallery of useful one-sprite projects. I know you have a couple, and I think I've seen a few others. The original scratch distro also has some useful ones (like the gravity ball, etc.) Why don't you go ahead and create a gallery and add me to the list of people who can add projects. There
Jens, my latest project "Scratch Sounds" allows one to call up lists of the instruments and drums so that one can choose a particular instrument when using a slider. I'd like to know what you think of the idea.
When you say it works only online (and in my experience it's true) how about your development of it on your own computer? I would like to be able to alter the settings successfully offline. Very strange.
Thanks for sharing this! I've been doing some simple puzzle games in scratch and this is a perfect way to add a bit of background music without bloating the file size.
And it even works for someone as musically incompetent as I am.
The 'secret' behind this project is the way it produces random harmonies. Here I'm trying out a new radically simiplified 'dumbed-down' harmony-making algorithm. The result surprises me, because it actually sounds rather pleasant, even reminding me of late 19th century romantic music (Bruckner, Mahler, Wagner) or contemporary movie score (John William, James Horner) at times. Aparently it doesn't take a great composer to produce that kind of music, just Scratch will do!

Beautiful! DrJim's suggestion of volume control in Scratch is a good one. Jens...you may hear this project in ALL future Scratch projects!!! :-)

Does this ever end?! Oh sorry er- good job you make cool stuff, your real taleted. :)

Great - but really argues for a volume control capability in Scratch to get the full "romantic" flavor.
