Project Notes
This project lets you compose your own harmonic music in a very simple way:
There's a staff of ten interlocking blocks. Click on the first one to choose a key for your song. Then click on the following blocks to set each chord in functional notation. If your sequence needs less than eight measures click on the following block to turn it into a repeat sign. That's it! Now you can transpose your whole song to another key just by clicking on the key block.
Click on the reader to pause. Click on it again to resume. If paused, you drag the reader to any position desired. Click on repeat to move the reader to the beginning. Click on the colored dots on the bottom to toggle between waltz and swing measures. Use the slider on the bottom to slow down / speed up your music.
Click on each instrument to turn it off/on. Click on the quill to cycle through other (random) music generation modes (your composition doesn't get lost). Click on the conductor's hand to let the project randomly cycle through all of its features...
