Pluto was considered a planet for many years, then scientist thought, 'Hey guys, it could just be a big rock.' and put it inbetween a planet and a draf planet while they thought it over. they decided every meteor is not a planet and proclaimed Pluto a drawf planet. Never was it one of Neptunes moons. Although they thought about that I think. Although not really thought of as a planet the name says 'Drawf (!!!)Planet(!!!)' So one might say nine planets. also you are right some of our planets disaster is ereversible, but if we stop it we can save countless know and unknown specias, and ourselves. Solor panales are a great way to help and thank you JSage for the lovely project. It helped inform and made a point. Hope you do well throughout scratch. SCRATCH ON!
Great. Pluto isn't a planet, bu it's not one of Neptune's moons either. I'ts just a drawrf planet. Great project though. I hope more people add solar panels to their house because of this.
first of all,pluto is not a planet it's one of neptune's moons,and second of all,trying to save enrgy and stuff like this isn't going to make a difference,sure you might prevent it from getting worse,but for any thing to happen every one in the world would have to stop using anything that causes pollution,and your not going to change global warming even if you do that,it will only prevent it from becoming worse,because the damage in the atmosphere is permanent,and anyways i dont under stand how it's global warming,because last spring was alot hotter
I somewhat agree with Toasty. I do think that global warming and pollution is a problem and that it's heating up the earth, but I think that the earth warming is a sort of cycle and that before in earth's history the earth has warmed up before an upcoming ice age (however I think that humans have speeded up the process a bit). But a nice project anyways.
Actually, after firmly believing in Global Warming I don't as much any more, I agree we should do as much as we can for our environment and to use less fossil fules, but it isn't going to change a lot! Recently the temperature is going down because of current changes, we are just experiencing a warm spot at the moment, how else would there be an ice age and then now perfect ciilisation?
We really ought to move towards a micro-generation power economy, with more reliance on small scale power-generation technologies close to the source of the power use, so that we do not waste as much in moving the energy around. A small wind-turbine and solar heating system on every roof would eliminate the need for a huge amount of fossil-fuel burning tech, and the time to start making these things is *whilst* we still have the energy from fossil fuels to make them with, not *after* the energy crises hits.
well.....globel warmings more then u think.....its all the gases we give off from cars,factores ect its when all the gases make a hole in earths atmispear and the suns more easily able to get to us and if its too hot...well lets just say u wont live...but also buying a house with a flat top and groing grass on it is a good way to resuveenergy....souler panels have one weakness...if the suns not out ur stuck powerless
The only problem with solar energy is that is extremely expensive. Don't tell me it isn't, not everyone can afford it. Although I firmly don't believe in global warming (because my dad is a geologist and he says it is just lies), when we run out of coal and oil, we will have to switch to solar or geothermal powered houses.

there are many people against global warming- including me- but no one takes it to the media as much as Al Gore says that it's our fault.
