Inspired by many games, including Tetris, I started to create a new game: Tetris Survivor.
It has some things straight from the 1989 version, like the look, (Mac OS5 help window! xD), step by step movement, ... This one has color - only those caveman type of people that lived in the 80s still play Black&White games xD At least some of them...

You might have some problems when the game starts up. The scroller sprites don't seem to switch to the right background when you click play
Sometimes the blocks move 2 boxes a time, it must have something to do with x and y rounding.

You can make 3D things with blender, export the animations to GIF :)

at the start, you can go down under the 1st few blocks and go through the bottom.

This is excellent! So the original Tetris was sidestep? When did it become vertical?
No... :P Tetris was always vertical, I made my own game out of it, and then i tried to simulate the look of the 80's. :)
