Inspired by many games, including Tetris, I started to create a new game: Tetris Survivor.
I tried to simulate the 1989 version as good as possible, including original sound and a MAC OS5 Help window. (My dad bought that thing when he was 20 or so)... I decided to use colors (instead of Black&White like the original) because nobody still wants to play Black&White games - except for that prehistoric people that lived in the 80's :D
I also tried to simulate Tetris by scrolling step by step, instead of smooth.
Don't touch the other Tetris blocks walls and try to do that as long as possible!

KNOWN BUGS

You might have some problems when the game starts up. The scroller sprites don't seem to switch to the right background when you click play
Sometimes the blocks move 2 boxes a time, it must have something to do with x and y rounding.

Why not to show the score as the game goes? I made a nice 107, but then... there were no more escapes! I found a compact wall in front of me without any hole...!

JSO, I am making a Scratch tutorial similar to the ones on Scratch Resources and I was wondering how I would upload it. It's designed to be an intro to variables and the way x and y coordinates, direction, and other quantities work in Scratch.
