This is a simple ten question test to help practise adding and subtracting negative numbers. The first five questions are repeated in questions 6-10. and so 1-4 have the same answers as question 6 - 9. Note that the answer to question 5 is not the same as question 10 since there is no year zero in the Julian calendar this can form an interesting discussion with students about the number zero.

It's questions 5 and 10 which really catch the students out. Not really sure about historical accuracy of 5. or validity as question but hey-ho.
