Cool! Hey, I haven't seen any of your projects in a while! And why are you signed up for the "OS projects" if you don't have an OS? Are you going to make one?
Actually, that means that either I bookmarked a gallery, or (like in this case) I created a gallery. I do have an OS though, it's a couple of pages back, and called FoxDur's OS 2.0. I'm working on a test that will help me to decide whether or not I'll make a new one.
sorry, I don't really add people to my friends list because they compliment one of my projects. Then there would be hundreds of people there, and being on it wouldn't mean anything. Sorry. Thanks though!
Nice drawings! I really like the tree from photoshop and Steve the purple turtle! By the way, I just took out another issue of T-Zine (link to project)
Thanks for telling me! I'm actually not going to have access to a computer for a while, so your logo might take a little longer. I can still check messages with my iPod though! Maybe I'll use my drawing app (it's called "Colors!," and I paid $5 for the fill version. Or was it $6? Anyway, maybe I can sketch an idea for a logo on that. I'm actually on my iPod now (and I should be getting to sleep), so I'll check out the new issue in the morning. Thanks!
My "human" drawing is online. Its Son Gou from Dragonball. Maybe you want take part at my draw contest. Read the instructions at the Son Goku project. I´m sure you´ll create a cool style for him. See Ya. Ronjon
Cool. I think that's actually the best human I've ever drawn. I can't really draw them other than that. Right now I'm using the scratch paint editor, but once I get the hang of the software that came with my tablet I'll start using that.
Interesting, I have a tablet, actually a very old one, and I just recently discovered it had a pen. However, since it is very old the programs that came with it are old, too. You know, that's interesting, I have a Graphire Bronze tablet, and you have Bamboo fun, which are both made, or were made rather by the same company, Wacom. Just out of curiosity, where's It'sEmilAgain's tree?
It's on one of his projects. What do you think of the Graphire Bronze? I've never heard of that. Is it in the "Other" section of the website, or has it just stopped being made?
These are really good! I like Steve, the magical purple turtle. Do you find that drawing with the tablet gives you much better control? Does it come with any special drawing programs of it's own? I'm curious about them, as you can see!
Thanks! I like Steve as well. I think that the tablet does give a nice aspect of being able to draw normally, but if I need to use the line tool very precisely, for example, I prefer the mouse. Maybe that will change once I get more practice. The tablet came with Corel Painter Essentials 4, Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0, and Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0. I haven't used any of them for actual drawing yet, but I have played around with Painter Essentials.
The one I got was a small black Wacom Bamboo Fun. It costs $99 (Canadian), but after shipping it was $120 (Canadian). It's a really nice tablet, and plus, it comes with three drawing applications in the software bundle, and some more things like a free premium store on cafepress (which is a $60 value)
Download this project!
Download the one sprite and 4 scripts of "Drawings" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
New tree added.
I'm also coding a website for some of my art (I wanted to code a website with html, and had no better idea). So that will be up soon.

Great drawings. The green grass looks very realistic. I also like the self-portrait, especially the coloured one.
Thanks! And thanks for adding it to your gallery! The grass and leaves are actually a custom brush on photoshop elements 6.
how did u do the leafs??
It's a custom brush on photoshop elements 6
oh and just wondering how small is the bamboo fun tablet ??
the active area (the part that you can draw on) is 3.7 x 5.8
About the size of a plate, but square... And The leaves are a custom brush in photoshop. And so Is the grass.

Thanks! I'm glad that you like it.
The full one is at http://iansart342.webs.com/images/computerart/4tree.jpg

Thanks! I really like it.
That's cool!
Ah, thanks.
Gmail is having some weird thing, but when it signs me back on in about a minute I'll be on.
Thanks! Also, I forget. How much did you say that student price for flash costs again? Or was that Me123456 who I was talking to about that?

I'll look!
Good drawings. You´re good in drawing humans and animals. I have a tablet too, but never use it. I use my mouse and MS Paint to draw my pictures.

(view all replies)steve is cool A long time ago I made up a turtle who weighed 1000 tons named peaches
Cool. That's an awesome character.

(view all replies)good drawings! i really like the tree!
yeah, that's what I was going to do, but then I was already running late so I posted it. Anyway, maybe I'll do that soon.
Thanks! I hate the trunk though. Too boring.
(view all replies)AAH! tree is so cool!
I added another tree. It's still not as good as yours, but it's still better than my last attempt. What do you think?
Well, I'd prefer that. If you had any more drawings, you could make a project like this!
(view all replies)is your tree done?
(view all replies)Thanks! It took a long time. The leaves are the only good part, though. In my opinion at least. I think the trunk really looks boring.
(view all replies)ha, so far its awesome!
the tree is really good! how much do tablets cost?
:P yeah.
Anywhere from $79 canadian to like$3000
