Download the 10 sprites and 57 scripts of "Photo Browser 1.1" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Within two months and one week it has 1000 views! (July 8, 2009)
Update: I added some different pictures (I drew them, so please give credit if you use), and I added transitions between different pictures in slideshow mode. Another update coming soon...
I've been working on this for a while, then I lost the file. Luckily, I found it again, finished it, and here it is.
If you can't tell what to do with the button, hold your mouse over it and then a tooltip will come up. Thanks for the inspiration of tooltips to paddle2See, his project (the one with the tooltips) can be found at (link to project)
To remix this with your own pictures, just go to the photo sprite and add delete, or move around costumes. You don't have to do anything else, it does all the thinking and adjusts the settings accordingly.

(view all replies)Ah. All they have to do is click "embed" under the project notes and copy and paste the code. Great idea! They would, however, have to remix it with the photos they wanted to show.

If you had a wide variety (40 to 50 photos) This could be the greatest project on scratch. Maybe some amimal pics or a desert, things like that. But 3 pics doesnt really cut it.
Ok, after thinking about it some more, adding that many photos would make it not load online, and make it really hard for anyone trying to remix. I'll move the ammount of photos up to 10, but that's it.

Well, does your friend use scratch? Because if they don't, they probably don't realize that it isn't a miracle tool that can do anything with no knowhow whatsoever.

Ah, I see. Basically I said that french was the only language I didn't need to use babelfish to find out how to say thank you in, and I asked if you were in immersion. I was, but then I went in to an enrichment program that only offered core.
