Play tunes on your computer keyboard using the awesome Wicki layout! Full range of MIDI instruments to choose from, and visualise your keypresses with the exploding quavers on screen!
NEW: You can now press left/right to change instrument and up/down to shift pitch up and down a tone (hold space to move in octaves)!
This is just a prototype. In the full versions I hope to include a layered recording mechanism, and then make it so you can integrate the recorded music into your own games/other projects easily (by importing the required scripts and data).

Also, type "why". It's a word that's also a musical triad!
'kip' is another... I can't see any more that are right and actually in order. 'feet' and 'pill' work but repeat letters and are minor chords. Aaaaanyway... when I'm feeling less lazy, I'm going to make the proper game.
Took me a while to figure out the interface, but after that, it was completely intuitive! :D

This means that you can make music by typing a word or a sentence! That's new. Who can find the best sentence to type? Interesting project! :-)
You can do that of course! However, once you understand the pattern of the notes you can play any tune quite easily! It's called the Wicki layout, you should be able to find some related stuff through google. There's actually an instrument based on it called the thummer/jammer but I haven't seen any for sale. See if you can figure out how to do a major scale at least :P
