Download the 12 sprites and 53 scripts of "Slime Volleyball 2.1" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
This is the same as both 2.0 versions of my slime volleyball. This version however has has both games combined with a menu and optional difficulties. When playing 'impossible', the timer will go off. You only have one life, so when the game ends, post your time! Reply to my post. There are a couple glitches however, like how sometimes the ball will go through you if you are jumping, but that can be resolved by jumping sooner. I modified the AI so it now acts like an AI. The AI doesn't always hit the ball though, because when it jumps it can't move horizantly.I hope you like this!
CONTROLS:
Player 1- Green slime:
Press the left arrow to go left and the right arrow to go right. The up arrow key makes you jump.
Player 2- Red slime:
Press the la' button to go left and the 'd' button to go right. The 'w' button makes you jump.

not very good. Suggestion: Make the angles different when it hits different parts of the player. Another: Make the ball faster in Impossible. :D

Yeah, sometimes that happens. I think that's happens when the computer is slow and it doesn't have enough time to read the script.

Then download it. If you want to fix it, you can, I don't use Scratch anymore, I just check my messages. I'm moving to Java.

xam, i use firefox (on my mac). the ball tends to stick inside the "sprite" and crash the browser? Any ideas why (legit ones;-)
I don't know. As a general rule, if something doesn't work on the site, downloading it usually makes it work faster and better. I use firefox too but I've never had it crash.

Thanks you! No, this isn't my invention, it is a game that my friends and I used to play on the computer. It is the first project that I ever did on Scratch. It was my motivation to try it out. This is not my first version though. It's a combination of my previous games. The difficulty menu is new though.

small sugestion, change the ground to a dirty tan color and do all the stuff for that and draw a black border around the sprites and for the ball make this script: If ball touching color black. and so forth for changing direction. that should make it to were the ball doesn't bounce around inside the sprite. =)

Yeah, I don't know why that happens. I think it's because the ball is moving to fast for the scripts to react in time.
its still great Emixam, but i found a glitch... if you play two player, if you score on the green slime, it doesnt change the "player two" variable, it changes the "computer player" variable... still great game though...
That is a glitch that can be fixed by restating the game. I don't know why it does that but I think it does because it uploads the interface that was being used. Thanks!
