I'm impressed. I definitely want to see a full version of this. The combat is good, although I don't think a platformer is the ideal way to do the non-combat sections. Interesting idea though. It would be great to see a game like this that could run smoothly from the website.

This engine is pretty decent. If you like it you can try and see if you can complete a game using this. But if you can't just use mine.
Oh man... I spent so long coding all of that... can't I add something so that I can use weapons? and I just wanted to make something myself but if it won't work, I guess I'll use it
Lots of thing, you don't consider weapons in your forumlas and your forumlas are too simple and overall your code is not well structured or well organized. It is pretty good for something you made yourself but I think you may want something better for a full RPG. I can program some stuff for you if you want.

Oh wow! This is so funny Derek! I think you did a decent job of making your own RPG engine but it's not professional like this one -->(link to project) I translated it from a actionscript script so it is high quality. Let me know if you need any help with this and if you come over during the break I can help you work on it :D
