Cool! I got 662/980 1.48 ratio I think! This is a great way to review multiplication times tables (something that I forget frequently) and it is also really fun!
Thanks good to have you hear try and master the Beat the Calc Master the Wizard is coming. Hi to your dad and mom and your little brother and sister. You are lucky to have such a cool family
Cool, I got 589/894. This is a pretty good way to have kids learn multiplication, and it is also a little challenging at first. (It took me a while to figure out what to do, you should probably be a little bit clearer on the project notes) Good job.
Thanks. You ratio is 1.52. Silver medal. Younger generation is better in figuring these things out. I will try to put some more instructions but I really want to make a process of discovery. Any suggestions on what i should explain. If youknow students in grade 3-5 have them try it.
Great Job! your ratio is 946/694=1.47 and that places you second . Above DrSuper;=< but still behind Paddle2See. If you beat your record let me know. Your are going on the Board;=>
It’s a nice gane, that asks for attention, reflex and maths knowledge. My first attempts were awful and I got stuck with the 5 and with the 64. Then I’ve downloaded the project but, at home, I got stuck too with the 32, with 358sec/474pts. The slider was being moved by the arrow keys but don’t accepted the mouse click because the variable “space” of the slider was set to 1, (I think).
Ffred please have another try and let me know. the Space is a way to improve the performance that paddle 2 see completed for me. For me it works much better now but still I have to see if we can improve it. Take a look at the code. Mixing the auto movement and the arrow keys makes the game more interesting but also creates the problems.
Not really. But I go to classrooms often. I invent manipulative and write books for math. I am going to develop a whole set of games and activities for students to learn all the basic math concepts while they are having fun;=> Are you a school teacher?
See what you think of this version. I put some branches in the Slider control loop to bypass the automatic positioning once the arrow keys are used.

A cool game! I had difficulty with the arrow keys though, they didn't always make the number go where I wantted it to. Also, the instructions could use some work...it wasn't clear to me at first that you are trying to build a multiplication table. I suppose it should have been obvious but I'm running a little slow this morning!
Thanks. I have to work on the instructions. I wanted to leave it so it is discovered but I dsuppose I should explain more. Room209 had the same trouble but the students seemed to have figured it out by themselves. I know about the arrow keys but I am not sure how to fix them. I try to stop the auto movement when they hit them but the system put in some time before doing it. Suggestions on how to would be most welcome.
We figured it out! It didn't make sense at first because the arrow keys weren't making the square slide on the web. When we downloaded it worked. The kids think this is a slick game.
Download the 105 sprites and 756 scripts of "Good Times" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Press the sapce bar to start. When the Slider (moving number) is where it should be press the Space bar or Click it to fix the number. (hint: recall your multiplication table.) You can use the arrow keys to change the direction of the Slider or move it faster. ************************************ If your score is higher than your time you will be a Good Times Master. Have fun! Comments are very much appreciated.Post your best score/time ratio.

"Goodtimes" is also the name of a very infamous computer virus... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodtimes_virus
Sorry to have such a bad name sake. i though Good Times was such a cool name for it.
