Both the small pink dimond and the square are a little odd for the ISo grid but they have the right side but wrong angles. I included them as they are included in the original pattern block.
This is cool project. If you like axonometric grids and patterns You can get the latest pre-release of Inkscape http://tinyurl.com/yljhtb6 here. It is a nice drawing software with lots of features. I can help you with it to get started.
I looked at GIMP and the link you sent I will certainly try it and get help from you. All I need is 6 more hours a day and I will be all set;=>Thanks B.
I have to draw all the little triangle as seperate sprites! I do not know a better way. Download and try with a few corners it would be fun. maybe you can find some other way.
Check out Khatam, Trigram and GeoShapes. The last two are puzzles that I invented;=> myself. I have been like a kid in the candy store I hope the wife does not dump me!
Thanks. I am working on Attribute Blocks and there you can put logic in so it is cool. Eventually one has to do game with it so people can get points and go forward.
No No don't get sick. That is because there is no cloning (duplication) possibility so I had to make 60 of each of the sprites. In reality there are no more than 20 to 30 simple scripts. Did you play. Did you like it? OR LOVE IT. Hint Hint;=>
Thanks. Working on it. I still ahve not found any easyway of snapping into the grid. Also graphics are limited by the fact that Scratch operates on 360x480 grid.
Thanks. Tell me about it! Do you know of any way except for putting triangles in the grid? Look at the original from Jocobo. In my stuff I had this feature in my tool.
You mayhave to take your love it back I really like to get some of these featured to get some reactions from the kids.

One more nice project from you, that give us the opportunity to build mosaics. It remembers me the “Calçada Portuguesa” which is the name of the decorated pavements, built by little rocks, in the streets of some Portuguese towns.
Thanks Fred. Send me a picture of "Calçada Portuguesa”
Download this project!
Download the 241 sprites and 983 scripts of "Pattern Blocks" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
You can make a lot of interesting designs and tiling with Pattern Blocks. Have fun! Pattern Blocks also form the basis of a number of mathematical activities in schools. I will make some of these later but please go ahead and remix this project to make your activities in Scratch.
I would like to give credit to Jacobo Bulaevsky who made the first Pattern Blocks on the Web in 1998. This version owes much to his work. I would also like to thank my collaborator ffred for all his help and comments on all my virtual manipulative projects.

Hey, not sure if you can do this... but could you make it so the shapes like fit in the units because mine looks sloppy w/out it!
I wish that the print button actually printed it to your printer

(view all replies)We need a Gini for that;=> Send it again to the Scratch team.
I love it!!!!!!

(view all replies)Cool! If only the print button actually worked lol!
I do too;=<
Oh, god, 983 scripts, frig, that makes me sick to my stomach

(view all replies)I love this. It would be easier if they just clicked into the grid so there are no white spots.

Wow, this is great! It could definitely be improved with the ability to snap the blocks to the grid.
