Terrific Triangles is the Virtual version of a Manipulative with the same name. You can drag the Single, Double and Triple pieces on the Super Board to make the representations for the numbers 1 to 10. The best symmetric configurations are called the Fractal Super Numerals.

Hi DrSuper, I see you came back! :)) I've got "super". But I started thinking at "nine" - thinking at famous Sierpinski triangle because it is easier for me to see that it is a fractal. The others also are fractals?

Not Weird at all this is the Super gasket you just have to see how it becomes a Fractal of course these numerals are just the base for a whole family.
(view all replies)I've been carefully in placing the triangles in a simetric way, from 1 to 10 and I've got "Super!"; but didn't get any "fractal" message. Did I make it in the right way?
all ways are good. if you click the title for Fractal Super Numerals You will these. I have a PDF of the article that was written about these i will send it to you. I have meant to do this for a long time I decided to do it for my birthday today;=>I am now divisable by 3 and 7 and I am not 21 either!
