Leonardo da Vinci suggested, in his writings, that the artist can enhance his faculties of creative invention by staring at a stain on the wall and therein he would perceive whatever he wished to see. From 1980, I have used this creative modus operandi and I have never suffered artist's block since. By simply staring at a targeted image, one can perceive a plethora of alternative realities within any image that one behold. The alternative realities that one sees in my work are not the projection of Leonardo into his masterpiece, but more closely reflect my own idiosyncracies. However, no one can deny that Leonardo has left us a powerful creative tool and game that can produce an abundance of ocular delight.
