I was wondering if you would like to enter this in the Scratch Awards for Best Tool. reply here: (link to gallery) and enter it here: (link to gallery)
This was great! It really explained a lot to me. (But for future reference, you might want to talk slower so lesser mortals like me can understand better.) Still loved it!
Hi, I'm advertising for my gallery, Help!. It's a gallery where I try to answer any questions people have about Scratch. I'll take any projects in Help!, but tutorials or how-to projects are the best. This project is great, and I'd love to have it in Help! Please put it in.
Im not quite sure what ur askin Vanslar. I think u want to have it so that u have a variable 'costume' and have as a script in the sprite- forever if (costume=1) switch to costume 1 etc. And the environmental factors can change the variable of cotume which should change the costume of the sprite.
im also making a tutorial for scratch but how do you make it so that you have a script for a costume. ex. you have a sprite with the costume of a variable. how do you do that?
I'm trying to use this for a project. But, I don't get how you enter the password. Do you have any projects that use passwords, and maybe I can look at the code?
A tutorial to explain how to add passwords and save points to your games. Does require some know how as well I am afraid. You can see an example of this in action in my Zelda project (link to project)

Wow ... great tut.

very helpful. that's gonna be useful at some point won't it.
Thanks.So good job
i have made a complex way of mixing passwords to binary '(link to project)'
I'd love to see a demo of this type of thing.
ha! ya right... dividing a password by 2 or even using some complex thing like *8/7.4-5 wont work. The only way to do it is to make it RANDOM
I learned alot from this :)
amazing
Cool!

I sort of did something like this. Here it is. (link to project)

Nice.
It would be better if the person who watched it clicked to make the cat go on so the people could go how fast the want to.
very helpful to me. I had some idea like this but did not know it was possible.
a little slower would help in some parts... but it's still great!

It's okay, but hard for young people to understand.

how do u add the password box????
it is in the new Scratch 1.4
Yes, look at my project 'Zelda' not 'Zelda Demo' that contains a code for passwords at the start.
I'm trying to use this for a project. But, I don't get how you enter the password. Do you have any projects that use passwords, and maybe I can look at the code?
