yeah. Most of the credit for multilinguality and graphics for this project is from Ffred. I just an the programmer who improved it with trig and other stuff.
I changed it and added trig so that it dispayed the point on the globe of earth. plus I made the lattitude and lngitude bars draggable, and made the back of the earth visible (wich took a bit of time making the mirror costumes)
thank you. I just worked with Ffred on this one. he slightly improved it and shared it on the portuguese scratch at http://kids.sapo.pt/scratch/projects/ffred/1092
Excellent! I loved it! Thanks for the partnership. Now, I’ve shared this project in the Portuguese Scratch Pole, at http://kids.sapo.pt/scratch/projects/ffred/1092
Dr. Gcklesvy has creeped all the mindwayeshed scratch users out though. OK so what I'm trying to say is that if, as you claim, all of the people at your school hate you for no apparent reason, it is quite reasonable to say that almost nobody on scratch hates you so you have more of an enjoyable time making scratch projects and commenting and stuff on scratch than of interacting with others at your school.
:( and soo, in the stressful world of MoonDemon's life, she turns to Scratch to escape... little does she know that Dr. Gcklesvy has taken control silently of scratch and is mindwashing everyone there DUHN DUHN DUHN but super scratch cat defeats him!
Download the 11 sprites and 36 scripts of "GPS - improved" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
this is a remix of ffred's version of my project. shows the point on the earth acurately, allows dragging of longitude and lattitude, and shows longitude and lattitude. TOP VIEWED 6/8/09!!
Also, see http://kids.sapo.pt/scratch/projects/ffred/1092 for Ffred's version on the Portuguese Scratch!

(view all replies)Wow. This is interesting. How did you do that? It confuses me how that even works.
(view all replies)ok IN OTHER WORDS Scratch is a much more friendly environment. I am sorry that I am so... thinking and honest but I am... ?? now I am confused.
